It snowed in Raleigh last night too.
Some drunk ran in the bar right after last call (2am), and yelled "IT'S SNOWIN, BITCHES!!!"
So I started walking towards him to send him back outside since it was after last call, and the guy working the door was like "Nah man, it really IS snowing!"
I'm glad it didn't stick or anything though, but it was cool to see.

Crumpet
That is a highly magnified picture of the microdermals. Pretty much, a small biopsy punch removes a core of tissue that is the same diameter as that post, and then a small tool is inserted in the hole to create a pocket under the skin. Then that long base slides into the skin, and then the heel pops down into the skin.
Those little holes in the base allow tissue to grow through to keep them anchored.
I wouldn't suggest them for your spider a. because its a pretty intense procedure, not something I'd want done 8 times in a small area and b.those little implants cost about 80$ US each, not to mention to implanting fee, which can be just as much.
I did some work with these on some local girls, and we had our photographer buddy take some shots of them...

I mean there was barely a drop of blood. Could this because I was on some kind of higher plain of peace - I felt my heart pulse while it was happening and it was soooo slow....
The needle only goes 1/16th of an inch ( ~ 1 mm) deep in the skin, so it doesn't bleed like a razor slash or anything, but as the artist wipes away the ink left on the surface of the skin, he wipes away the little bit of blood. He didn't have to shade that much on you, so not that much skin was torn up with the shading needle, hence not so much blood.
And yes, the lack of bleeding can have something to do with your heart rate.
Expect the entire tattoo to harden up, like a scab, in the next 48 hours.
Make sure you follow your artist's aftercare instructions!!

It takes 9 years to pick the first one, and 9 minutes to pick the second one.
