  Anybody Know What Presiding Overseer's are Being Told at Bethel School ?

  i guess there is a special training school going on for presiding overseers according to my jw mom.

  my elder brother went back there for a week training session .

  he explained that they are doing this training first in the united states only for presiding overseers and if it works out well - they'll implement it across the world in other countries.. apparently he stated that the training they are getting is very detailed and to the point.

  Wish we could get some video/recordings out of the classes. I doubt there is a work book like the Elder book.

  just saw the newsflash on cnn (10:30 est wed 30 dec 2009).

  seems he had serious chest pains while playing golf in hawaii and was rushed to the hospital.

  not sure where the "serious condition" part came from but that's what was reported.. even those of us who disagree with most of what he says wish him no harm and a speedy recovery.. however, when you are that full of shit, it takes a toll on your body.. rub a dub.

  Well, when he's not on stage, playing to the liberals (that's really what he's doing, you know), he is actually quite a gentleman.

  I think people forget what the media was like in this country before he came along. It was really weighted/leaning toward the left. Many felt that their conservative beliefs weren't being heard. He had the "set" to say it like many were feeling.

  Whether you like the dialogue or not, you at least have the dialogue now. You may not like what you hear, but at least you are able to hear it, it's out there, and maybe over time, as a nation, we can address it.

  Of course now, 20 plus years later, Rush has become quite a caricature. It makes money.

  I am not a fan of extremists on either side.

  I was going to say something positive about him, but that would make me a racist. It's funny, he sounds like a reflection of many of the "folks" on this thread. You guys are awesome!
