"THE GOD YOU WORSHIP REVEALS WHAT HIDES IN YOUR HEART"
Uh...that's pretty simple, and a very powerful statement.
be careful what you say god is and what he wants; you may be saying more about yourself than you realize.. it may well be our personal taste in religion is revelatory of our basic character.. _____.
look at the devout islamist whose worship consists of blowing people up or cutting off heads.. contrast that to those hindi who sit with legs folded in their own lap contemplating bliss.. now contrast both the above to somebody who believes service to god is visiting the sick in hospitals.. _____.
instead of there being 3 different gods served--there might only be an extraordinary unveiling of each person's heart and mind!.

i have words that irritate me and not always without reason.. my latest hate is the word: 'solutions' as used by so many businesses in their title these days.
y'know, 'something innane business solutions' and such balderdash.. i loathe that word now.
arrrrggghhhhhh!
"I'm like..."
"I'm all..."
Worse and worst are flipped all the time.
as a child, i was made to believe that i loved my mom and family and close friends but that i loved no one more than jehovah god.
did you ever really love him?.
.
I don't think Jehovah really expects us, or wants us to love him more than our family. If he or it exists, he probably just wants us to love.
another email going round the jw community.
there all excited about this saying it's going to be a great witness to others.
yeah right.. .
No more Kate...Amy Adams.
i come here to learn, but i also come here because it feels like a private club and i'm privy to be a member of the "in" crowd.
it's a great place to socialize.
does anyone else feel that they are a member of a special "club" when they come here, that only some people in this world will understand the jw world?.
Since I don't attend meetings anymore, this helps me keep pace with the org.
every time i see this new "logo", jw.org, i'm taken back to the days in the late 60's and early 70's when we used to put a watchtower in the rear window of our cars when on the way to our vacation..er, i mean, the district convention (that's what they called it back then).
then, some years later we were "admonished" to not put the watchtower in the rear window of our cars while on the way to the dc.. how long before they council the "friends" to not bring "undo" attention to the organization?.
boring subject?

Boring subject? Oh, well, had to throw it out there.
there seems to be a rumour re, the qtr regarding the resurrection and remarriage.
i know that the qtr states that the scripture refers to a heavenly resurrection, and so the survivors may remarry with their ressurected mate.
somehow they modofied this at the circuit assembly.
I am so happy for this very important clarification of the truth.
i can only imagine the talk, "ooo the king of the north (russia) is back on track, and isis, and lots of problems, any minute now!
" .
.
Ahhh...the mysterious riddles of the "truth"... I'm getting a woodie just thinking about knowing the what's going to happen before anyone else so I can save my family and friends first!!
