by cofty inperhaps the most common misunderstanding that prevents people from grasping evolution is complexity.. we see it almost daily on the forum where people mention dna or the eye or any of a multititude of examples and ask how it could have arose "by blind chance"?.
whenever you see a reference to chance and complexity it is obvious the person hasn't yet grasped the basics of the theory.
chance is only one part of the process.

by St George of England inwe had a letter read at the end of the wt study today announcing twickenham for our convention, 22-24 august 2014. no amex next year then.. there was also a letter read saying not to book hotels except from the wts list as this would help make it cheaper for the majority as the wts will have greater bargaining power!.
they are also hoping to book buses and trains.. what a scam.. george.

Red light camera ticket
by sspo inmy last speeding ticket was in tennessee in 1993, was going 15 miles over the speed limit and got a $60 ticket.
that was my last one.. three weeks ago did not make a complete stop making a right turn here in california and got nailed with a "camera ticket".. damage to my wallet ...$540 and have to take an 8hour class.. i guess california is in need of a lot of cash.. do you have traffic cameras where you live or are they illegal?.

WATCHTOWER IN A PANIC!

at this years agm where it is expected that most of the faithful will be able to listen to the meeting (being tied in by video), dont be surprised if the wts 8 gb members take part in a symposium delivering some long winded appeal, petition, plea, proposal, proposition, solicitation or otherwise hit-on the masses for $$$ in order to lighten the burden and overuse that many kingdom halls are experiencing.
an acquaintance from the west coast mentioned to me that in late august thru early september of this year that a number of pow-wows involving close to 5,000 elders from numerous areas (riverside, los angeles, ventura and orange counties) took place to drum up financial support from the 800+ (not sure) congregations in those areas.

what is the shelf life of a quick build..i think they were built to last till armageddon which was supposed to be a long time back..now they have to be renovated or rebuilt cos they are falling down
