Well at this very point, she isnt quite that bad, but yes, I do need to do something soon. As for prepping her for the doctor, at the beginning, it worked, but now it doesnt, cause she forgets by the time she goes in. So her doctor knows how she is. We have her on a program through the Aging Resource Center. I take care of her every day, pick her up and bring her to my house for dinner, cause she cant cook anymore. I make sure her pill box is filled, but she does take her meds on her own like she should thank god. But yes, I guess I should call them and ask where i could put her besides a nursing home. We live in a small town, and the nursing home here has mostly older people. She is only 66. My dad was in there for 8 months due to a stroke, and he was so depressed cause he was too young. I just cant do that to her. I will find out my options and let you all know what they have her for her. Thanks for your support all!

Ok, Defd sent me this pm, and said it was ok to post it for everyone to read!
I meant to send a message with the last one. The reason why I am pm you is that i reached my limit of posts. I would have done this over the board but i cant till tomarrow, when i get more posts to my credit. Disfellowshipped or not i had no reason to dog you like that. Everyone is right, it is not very matur or Christian like. In my defence I would like to say that your topic upset me. You may not believe anymore but I do. When you started talking about the hall and the bad things you would do and getting everyone else hyped up about it, I felt personally attacked. So out of anger and to change the posts topic I threw in an insult. I do apologize and if youd like you can post this on the DB for everyone to read just as stillajwexelder did. That would be great, seeing that i cant post till tomarrow.

The saddest part about it is she is my best friend, always was. When she was able, we would go out and eat dinner, and get drunk and laugh together! It doesnt happen anymore! It just makes me sick when I think about old times. But again, thank you all for your support!

Did you ever witness someone being escorted out of the KH?
by JH indid it ever happen in your congregation that a person was asked to leave?.
i remember about 10 years ago, an elder was giving the sunday talk, and a woman that i never saw before was seated in the front.
she was all alone, and right in the middle of the brothers talk, she raised her hand and started asking questions to the brother about what he just said.

they have programs here, they give her lunch every day, delivered. But as far as her living somewhere, they have rules. So I guess she would have to quit smoking, and give up her cats! I guess thas better than her living on her own. She could always smoke outside?
