  Has anyone ever played with a ouija board?

  this past weekend, we met a new couple in our campground, and the conversation soon came 'round to the supernatural.

  the lady said she has had quite a few supernatural experiences, and that she plays her own home-made version of the ouija board.

  my husband was all excited and begged her to play .

  There is really now way possible to prove to someone they work. They can always fall back on....."someone is moving the pointer". But if you have two people playing, if only one is purposely moving it, it doesnt move straight if you are lightly touching it. The one pressing hard to move it, their end of the pointer goes first and crooked. (I tried it to see the difference)

  When Brooke and I used it, it went off the board to one corner. Now I just read (not that I believe it or not) that when it does that, the spirit has escaped the board, and is in the house.

  DID YOU DEDICATE YOURSELF BEFORE BAPTISM OR DID YOU LIE?

  i was just wondering when you where going through the questions for baptism did you know you had to dedicate yourself to jehovah before hand or did you lie?.

  i didn't know i had to so when i went through the questions i had to lie and say i had.

  i always felt bad about it afterwards and quickly did a little prayer that night.

  I googled ouija board stories......and came to this site. They record their conversations they have on the boards. Now, if it works (which I believe they do since mine moved) I would never ever ask the questions they do lol.......I'd be crapping my pants. They are suppose to be talking to a guy that murdered 13 people, and died in the pen. And they ask if he is going to hurt them? I sure as hell wouldnt want to see the answer to that! Especially since he said YES lmao. (of couse, it could be all made up) But just the thought gave me goosebumps!

  As a parent....how do YOU feel about trampolines?

  my daughter broke her arm really just a hair above the elbow about 5 years ago.

  her arm isn't the same after having pins in it.

  now my oldest daughter has been going over to a friends house and doing back flips (as if she's a pro) on the dumb thing.

  I had trampoline lessons in elementary school. I had a HUGE trampoline to bounce in, not those little tiny things that I see in people's backyards. So for most things the risk was almost nonexistent, but for flips, they started you out in a belt and harness so that minimized the risk as well until you learn how to do it without it, although it is back to the harness for more advanced things like putting a twist in the flip, etc.

  Those were the good ole days hey? I did the same thing......and they always used me as an example.

  I wont get on them now.......especially with another person. I hate it when they hit right before you do, and you fly 20 feet in the air. NO thanks.

  i have a few friends that just wont allow it.

  i think its so funny!

  they go into a store, see a jw that runs the other direction with their cart.......and they follow trying to strike up a conversation lol.

  I have gotten on a Microphone(during a karaoke performance) and announced to everyone who "they " were and that "they" are JW's and "they've" been committing premarital sex for the past 7 years.

  GAWD, how i will never forget that one.........I took my beer and headed as far away as I could get!!!!

  Well, I was talked out of buying that used board by several posters. God knows who used it and what they did with it........guess I'll stick with my toy board!

  What do you wish you were doing now and later?

  what i wish i was doing is sliding out of a hotel bed with a view onto the mountains or the sea and getting ready for a lazy day by the pool being served margharitas whilst i people watch and reading my book.

  i'd plan on a pizza and a salad after a vigorous swim.

  possibly retiring to my air conditioned room when it gets too hot for some fun with one of my two playmates.

  I didnt know you played golf! I have my own set of clubs - just not very good at using them! Imagine you me and brooklet on girls do golf - JH can be our caddy!

  I wouldnt mind being on the golf course, sucking down brewski's, and whacking my balls (oh that sounds naughty) into the crick, and ending up with a score of 74 for 9 holes!

  Or go on vacation with you hun!
