  is it possible that just about everything we say about the jw's on this forum is true, but on the other hand they would be the only true religion that god approves, even though they are imperfect and make errors?

  They way I see it, we are all imperfect, and really have no clue which religion is the true religion! It all goes by what your taught! I dont think that a loving god would destroy those in armegedon who simply dont know which way to turn! I would rather not go to any, and take my chances!!!!!

  Like what? When ever someone says this I'm always curious as to what they are talking about

  well, lets see, maybe its just because i was raised in the "truth" and I havent completely let go. But I was raised a good person! So thats one good thing. I think they follow by the bible more than any other religion(except when they take a scripture out of context). For the most part, our congregation was pretty loving. I know its not that way in all congregations though. Hell, nevermind! I could say something bad about everything im saying! I was raised good, but now Im bad cause i was never allowed to do anything. Most congregations are clicky, gossipers with their heads up their ass! So forget my first post!!!! lmao

  I would have to say maybe! I think they are right about alot of things. As a matter of fact I still believe alot they teach. I just disagree with too many things. Yes, they are imperfect just like us, BUT.....I think we can all agree, that the wts should know better than to get involved with the UN. If we know its wrong, they surely did! Thats not imperfection, thats just plain going against what Jehovah teaches! Oh thats right, Jehavah isnt teaching us, the wts is!

  Inappropriate "shepherding" calls.

  how many have recieved calls by the elders that were under the guise of "shepherding", but somehow inappropriate, i.e, you were a woman alone with only one elder showing up, or you felt physically intimidated by both.

  or say they show up at like, 10:30 at night for a shepherding call.

  and you say "hey, i appreciate the visit but please call first!

  Would you go to a funeral at the Kingdom Hall?

  so my brother and i have been having talks about what will happen when our dad passes away eventually.

  most of his brothers and sisters have died in their 50's or early 60's.

  i flat out refuse to attend any part of the service that would be done at the kingdom hall.

  Dustin, my grandpa just died recently, it was at a funeral home. But to my shock, everyone comforted me! And every one talked to me. Go for your parents!

  Would the WTS torture the "apostates" if they could?

  do you think the wts would physically torture and even execute "apostates" if we all lived in a context that allowed them to do so?

  much as the catholic church did in the middle ages when they had the opportunity to treat their dissenters as they wished.

  already the way the gb wants apopstates treated is as vicious as can be, manifests a deeply seated maliciousness and animosity and is calculated to hurt as much as possible under the present day circumstances.
