It's stating that the claims believers make regarding the existence of gods is lacking substantive evidence. NOT a personal belief system.
Yes, evidence is lacking and most of the testimony is anecdotal, subjective and/or hearsay. There is no smoking gun. That doesn't mean a shot wasn't fired.
But unless more substantial evidence is presented, the court rules not guilty of the charge of creating this mess.

If you believe there isn't a god, is this not a belief?
Is this not a conviction, a worldview?
Of course, this doesn't equate the opinion with that of one that believes there is a god. The burden of proof resides on the believer. This also doesn't mean the opposite opinion is any less a position of conviction.
Technically, if all the evidence available is not on the table, neither position can be validated. As regards god, it's a delicate matter.

IS Science Absolute Truth

by new hope and happiness ini am not much of a reader as i have two many distractions, but i fancy a challenging read, so please list any book that has changed your entire world view on everything.
i remember as a teenager buying at a yard sale, norman vincent peales " the power of positive thinking" and at the time that had a big impact on me.
but i am a little bit more in to " realistic positive thinking" now..
