  WHY?

  not too long ago a new kingdom hall was built in bury, near where i live.

  it is frequented by two congregations, whitefield and bury.

  both have problems and are losing members (let's face it, with my family alone whitefield lost 5 .

  often we see pictures in books or on the net or even in jw magazines of what jesus may have looked like.

  i googled jesus and found these pictures of what he may have looked like.. here are a few pictures i saw that didn't match what i expected jesus to look like.

  for me, jesus should like like this below .

  Jezebel Idea in Motion (photos)

  ok, it started as an idea to make a jezebel such as was in the book of bible stories.

  but then i did not have all the parts and my hair was tied down.

  i threw in jack the ripper shoes and stockings, and a gypsy skirt.

  Installing Watchtower Library

  you know, it's funny.

  i have my dub parents pc here for a tune up and one of the things they asked of me was to install the latest watchtower library from cd.

  i said sure and am doing it at the moment.

  Likely if they see something that looks funny, they'll blame you immediately. And how hard is it to go to their hard copies of the literature and see if the text matches up?

  Yeah, but the look on their faces would be priceless,.....muahahaha

  jk on the hack. Better things to do with my time,....

  i didnt see an introduction topic, forgive me if this is not the forum.. my name is kyle.

  i was born into a jw family in 1981. i spent my child hood not only going to every meeting but also in a home schooling program ran by some of the congregation folks with children.

  extremely cut off from the world to say the least.

  It would be brilliant if they started a scholarship fund in Mr. Irwin's name to assist young people who wanted to pursue an education in wildlife conservation.

  It would be an honour to his life's work.

  When you install that does it put all the files into the computer or do you still need the cd to run it? If it installs everything I wonder how hard it would be to hack into the files in the computer and do some judicious editing?

  You have the option when installing. I'll let you know on the second part,....;-)

  Perhaps they think that if you install it for them you may well see something on there that will make you realise that you are missing out and should go back to 'd troof'. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  You must know my parents. Or have the same type perhaps,...lol I smile at the little games now. So transparent.

  telling lies

  neighbors of mine have been spreading some unkind untruths about me and i'm not sure what i can do about it.

  i'm struggling and would love some words of insight from others.

  there are days when i'd like to sink to their level and tell some lies of my own, but i know that's not the way to go.

  try informing them that lies are too much work to try to remember and keep straight...truth is much easier and less time consuming...truth is memories...lies are dreams and most time nightmares they are designing for themselves in the long term scheme of things.
