Some funny stuff :)
it just dawned on me.
the existence of god can't be proved, neither is there evidence of god's inexistence.
so, i'm neither theist neither atheist.

Yea, methinks I know of this; nice to hear it explained.
Playing bass in a rock band is well, fun, creative and a good night out wit da boys. It's a hobby I enjoy and has carried me through some times. But the thing I really like are the moments in playing where there seems little thought about what to do when and what's coming next. There is no "trying", it just happens and I'm along for the ride, like autopilot. And usually there's no doubt that it's the "right" notes and phrases; you know that's how it "should" be. Sometimes if asked exactly what I played, I have to work it out quickly, because I really wasn't thinking about it. They're elusive moments and/or states it seems, as most times I'm usually caught up in the technicality of playing or just remembering song structure. And there's the other guys and the nuances of how they're playing, which can add to or distract. But this also inspires new ideas and creative process. It's awesome when everybody's "in", hehe
Cool stuff.
it just seems to me religion in general primarily makes truly bad people worse, not genuinly good people better; and in many cases has even made good people do bad things in the name of their religion.
just curious, a personal poll if you will.
what are you guys' current views on religion as a whole?
JeffT raises some good points IMO. Beyond the ideology of the church, people in need are being helped, at least in one way or another. There is a social aspect that people like and need. I don't see much hate in that, really.
Religion as a whole? I'm somewhat ambivalent about the more extreme points on the curve but more at peace with it than I ever have been overall. Less idealistic and less offended, less driven about being "right", less angry about god. This doesn't mean I condone what is clearly wrong or illegal where or when such things are linked to religion, At the end of the day, I find I really don't care what someone believes if they're a person that has some human decency and compassion or at least respects the rights of others.
There is good and bad in everything and everyone. Some have more of one or the other. I try to go on a person by person basis.
the hijab is one of a few headdresses worn by muslim women.
from what i can tell, it is supposed to hide the femininity of the woman.
because i'm sure as a muslim, it's going to all be the woman's fault if a man acts improperly due to attraction.. i don't agree with it, but hey, it's their religion and it doesn't hurt others, so have at it if you want to wear it.. let's face it.
And the fully clad burka females - where the ONLY female presence is a thin visor - have the most freaking awesome amazing incredible beautiful and sensual EYES.
I have to admit, Persian women do have beautiful eyes, and a rather captivating visage overall.
What Tater-T said.
And I saw beauty in the world about to be destroyed.
i recently shared my views on how to witness to jehovah's witnesses to a local congregation.

I've seen a convincing photo of a rather serene looking Jesus appearing with arms outstretched in the arse of a dog.
Here, I'm not convinced
Well played
