Apparently, I do it unintentionally sometimes. As for actually trying to flirt?
Well, that would be one of those things that they don't teach in the KH. That, and fashion sense.

I know, that's one of the big problems I've always had with what they believe. Especially since, like I said, I'm a news junkie. And I have an opinion on everything.
Thanks, I like it too. Right after I picked it out in March, our KH gave a talk about how we should nevereverevarrr fall into Spiritual Apathy. And that made me like the name even more. xD; -

I'll miss a few things when I'm gone. The people I've grown up with for starters. I know some of them actually care for me, and are like family, but I also know that once I leave the bOrg, they won't have anything to do with me.
I suppose I'll also miss the conventions. I dunno, I've always liked them. They're soothing. You sit there and just chill while some guy with a monotone voice drones on, and then there's lunch, when you can hang out with people who you haven't seen in years, and then at the end of the day, you go out to eat, and go swimming.
=/ I think everyone has something they miss about it. You can't be a part of something so wholly defining without it making an impact on you. For me, it's not the people I have problems with, so much as the doctrine. I can't ever be that narrowminded about everything (and I'm a news junkie- I want to be allowed to have opinions). -

I personally use AIM mostly, but I have Trillian too, so I can use any of those. Anyways, my screenname on AIM is 'kitty for doom', on MSN it's '[email protected]', and Yahoo is 'xpazzox' or something. I believe it meant something in Italian that I don't remember anymore. xD; -

Dancing...
by Country Girl ini've been dancing since i was a little girl.
i wish i had someone to dance with.
do you dance?
-

I'm a horrible dancer as well, and will also probably only ever dance when incredibly drunk.
It'd be neat to take dancing lessons, though. My friend takes Jazz, it looks like fun. Oh! Or swingdancing! I'd love to learn that. -

WT Experiences from the distant past presented as current
by blondie inw63 6/1 p. 344 is speaking in tongues an evidence of true worship?
those who seek these miraculous gifts that god no longer bestows upon his people lend themselves to such deception by satan, and often the effects are embarrassing.
aside from the convulsive seizures and emotional shouting, d. a. hayes in his book the gift of tongues described an incident similar to those reported by others.

Its called: Jehovah's perception of time...
Keep this in mind as you contemplate the fact that Jehovah's Day might seem to be "delaying." The Bible says "one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day" (2 Peter 3:8). So if we look at history from Jehovah's point of view, we should realize that:
+ Adam was created six days ago and Jehovah made immediate plans to restore what he had lost for his offspring.
+ 39 hours and 45 minutes later He acted to prevent the demons and Satan from ruining the earth with their violence and to give a clean start to a few righteous people- Noah and his family.
+ 10 hours later, the same day, a covenant with Abraham was in place to give a guarantee that Jehovah would provide a ransom for mankind and restore things to their rightful state.
+ The very next day, Israel left Egypt, the Law Covenant was put in place and the temple was built.
+ One day, 1 hour and 48 minutes later Jesus paid the ransom and people who wished to put faith in it could be saved.
+ 2 hours and 5 minutes ago Jehovah placed his son on the throne in His Kingdom to finalize the arrangements for the new system.
+ And within a few minutes (or maybe seconds) it will all be over at Armageddon for those wanting to disrupt His purposes.
+ After one day spent restoring the earth to paradisaic conditions, those who are faithful to Jehovah can look forward to uninterrupted everlasting life on into eternity.
So it's "all in a week's work" Do we still think Jehovah is slow respecting His promises?
See? Sixty years is NOTHING. xDD; -

Granted, since they were quoting the book, which was the one saying how it was 'not long ago', it still led one to believe that it had occured not long ago. They might just be stupid, but I doubt it. Well, not their stupidity, but not noticing the leading way the quote was presented.
At least they didn't quote the 'not long ago' bit in 1992. Even for the borg, ninety years is probably a long time. -

Are You A Male Chauvenist?
by Legolas inare you the type of guy that has to drive even if it is your wife's car?
my husband is not.
we both have our own, but my husbands drives a truck, so going to the meetings i nearly always drove because it is my vehicle, i was never talked to about this, but from the 'looks' i got from the elders i know i would have been if we were still there!

I can see myself fighting with some guy if he insists on driving my car.
Note to Self: Get a car.
