i am a passive aggressive.

can't help it - i learned it from my mommy.

so if i am angry and feel like throwing stuff or hitting something/someone i do sneaky stuff instead.

This is one of the things I had to work on.... In my relationships I'd just let it slide because I was taught "anger" was bad. So instead of getting angry and hashing things out....it would just build a wall of resentment between us. Slowly poisoning the relationship. By the time we got to the point where he knew what was going on....I was done with him.
Also typical Dub reasoning I would think, "Well if he loved me he would know that he should do ____________". Like well if I loved Jehoba enough I would automatically know what was right and wrong. We are all so wrapped up in our own little worlds it's hard to know what's going on in someone else's head.
I'd also assume I knew the reason why one of my mates did something. Like forgetting to take out the trash. I'd think to myself...I told him twice, now he's just trying to piss me off. So I'd stew on it for 3 days being mad....but being Christian cause I wouldn't get "angry"...then when I'd finally mention it he'd say "Oh, I was on my way out the door with it, but FedEx rang and set the trash down to go to the door....." So here I was mad about something that didn't exist for 3 days yet built resentment. Not good.

Ever think about going BACK?

(it's been so long i can't really remember).

but lately i've considered going back.

I don't know....I think the smell of cheap cologne, sweaty polyester, and fake smiles would probably make me puke at the doorstep.

I hear a "blow by blow" from my mother all the time. "Well you remember sister so and so right? She ran off with brother so and so, who left his family......"

I honestly don't like it. Nor do I think it's healthy. You are playing a game that does not foster honest, open communication. However, the Dubs are masters at passive / aggressive behavior, so we've all been inculcated with it. (he he.... I said inculcate)

i'm thinking back to all the "signs" that were cited - officially and unofficially - as reasons we knew that armageddon would be coming any day now.

there was a fellow in my book study 30 years ago who used to bring time magazine to every meeting.

to him, whatever was in the news that week was evidence that the system couldn't hold out much longer.

Well I remember before global warming....they were worried about the population explosion and the next ice age.
They also used the DDT pesticide as evidence of man ruining the Earth.
The United Nation's 1986 "International Year of Peace"....in district assemblies of 1984/1985....talking about how the end was OBVIOUSLY imminent.
The King of the North and King of the South illustration was bandied about every meeting. The silly Dubs would drool worse than a Black Lab at dinner time over this orgy of delight at the upcoming distruction. Laughing at the "goats" god was going to destroy. Real love shown there I tell ya.
The 1975 fiasco. God was doing a "final sifting" before unleashing the end. He needed to test his flock as to their loyalty.....what I said? I thought God only alllowed Satan to test people......Oh well he allowed Satan to test people about 1975. What? "Don't be argumentative". Ah, I see I said. (Recent conversation I had with family)

here in quebec, one funny expression people say is "donne a manger a un cochon, et il viendra chier sur ton perron" .

word for word in english this would mean: feed a pig, and he will shit on your porch.

in other words, sometimes you try to be nice to people, and they don't always try to be nice to you in return.. .

If you say these types of sayings fast enough people don't catch it that you are insulting them even further. LOL

What Happened?

I have been in very similar incidents as you have just described. There were many things you could have done but chose not to.
1.) Stay with the woman and ask people w/ cell phones to call 911, 999 whatever.
2.) Taken the cab to the Police Station and tell them the situation....the vagrant may have been arrested doing so. You, an upstanding citizen could have.
3.) Insisted the cab driver help you pull her into the cab and drop her off at the hospital...no questions asked. This would have turned her over to someone who actually could have cared for her.
4.) Insist the cab driver use his radio to call dispatch to have them call 911.

I hope I never fall over in your proximity Hib. Sheesh. But what do I know, I'm only a lousy homo without Christ as my savior.
