I love the way accents effect the way certain words are pronounced. A few of my favorites are:
Jehover (for Jehovah) - sangwich (for sandwich) - Bictor (for Victor) - chew (for you)

One of my favorites: irregardless! There is no such word - it's regardless - adding ir before doesn't make it any more less, it just makes you sound stupid to those of us who know!
What about conversate - WHAT - the word is converse folks - no one conversates, they converse and have conversations!

Confused - you're a hoot ! Yes, we actually have black cards - just ask Tiger Woods and Condolesa Rice - they lost theirs!! LOL (And we tried taking away OJ's, but Johnny Cockran wouldn't let us.)
Daughter - not sure if Luther Vandross is black? Hmmm... yeah, he is - or rather was - since he died last year. But he didn't make that song - it was a group called Heatwave. I've always regretted NOT using that song at our wedding - the song we used was "The Best is Yet to Come" - beautiful song, but nobody knows it.

It's my understanding that this really began because the society wanted to be recognized as a religion in Europe and the European Council told them that they could never become a recognized religion because they didn't show sanctity of life. They preferred that members accept death over a blood transfusion. They then agreed not to remove a member over blood. This allowed them to get the recognition that they wanted. For a while after they used the old bait and switch saying they weren't disfellowshipping anyone for accepting blood, but that those who accept blood have shown from their actions that they are disassociating themselves from the org. Now they've loosened the rope a little more (probably afraid they'd get called on the double cross).

ok..many of you read what happened..our house was egged and so was my sisters car that was parked here, and "frosty" was attacked!!
I'm definitely in the "sue them" pool. HOWEVER, since I also agree that this is a hate crime and it's one that is perpetuated by the teachings of the organization, couldn't this be expanded to include the WBTS and show that it was done under their influence? Think BIG here - this could become a class action if other step forward.
