terry was admitted to the hospital yesterday.

he has a severe case of cellulites which has affected his neck glands.

his face and neck are very swollen.

Terry was admitted to the hospital yesterday. He has a severe case of cellulites which has affected his neck glands. His face and neck are very swollen. Terry has been unable to swallow and has had no food since Friday. He is on a drip, told me they have changed his antibiotics twice.

The hospital is doing all they can to prevent the spread of his infection to his brain and prevent him from throwing a clot to the heart. at this time it is difficult and painful for him to talk. I will keep you posted.

The Mormon 'Miracle'

i grew up in the mormon state, so i can attest this as true.

the state bird is the seagull, a disgusting, bullying, messy and annoying scavenger.

there are zillions of seagulls around the great salt lake, just a few miles north of salt lake city.. why is it the state bird and why does killing one of those flying rodents bring on a fine of $100?

Would I be in trouble?

would i be in trouble?let's suppose that i had never stopped going to the meetings at the kingdom hall, and that i was still actively engaged in the field service.

if you were to be invited into my home you couldn't help but notice that the entire top (probably 6 foot across) of my entertainment center (a piece of furniture that holds the tv and that has glassed-in shelves on each side) is crowded with religious figurines, most of which came from the local catholic store.. .

next to that is the nativity scene that has several pieces: the wise men, the "star", the babe jesus, and joseph and mary etc.

WOULD I BE IN TROUBLE?

Maybe, maybe not. After hanging around here for four, or five years, I've come to the conclusion that jw's of today can get "into trouble" for whatever ANY knit browed, knuckle dragging elder, or one of their ass kissing stooges, mindless thinking is on a subject.

THE seagulls prayed amongst themselves the Deity would lead THEM to a land flowing with crickets and other small insects. I'm sure the Great Salt Lake had nothing to do with it. Thus the Great Seagull Exodus with Seahova leading the way brought Seagulls to the Great Salt Lake.

Rescuing a God who is blind to Evil

have you ever gone shopping in a department store for shoes or clothes?.

do you just walk over to the rack or shelf and select what you want without trying anything on to see if it fits?.

Knowing good and evil is the lie, assuming we accept the premise that God is Evil Blind.

Here's a thought. God is Evil Blind. God has created this perfect world, at least within the confines of the garden. Just as a person knows they are color blind, God knows he's Evil Blind, so he wants his ultimate creation, man and woman, to be like him. After all they were created in his image.

But there's that pesky tree. Lets call it the Smart Tree. Hillbilly God doesent want his ultimate creation to be smarter than him, no reaching out for higher education. So , God being the Supreme being he is, says don't eat from that tree. Along comes the serpent ( in many cutlers being a symbol of wisdom ) naw, eat from the tree, it'll make you smart, like God. What it does is, it makes them smarter than God, because theyare not Evil Blind.

In a petty tantrum God curses them, than kicks them out of the Garden into the harsh cold reality of life. Not only is God Evil Blind, he is also a petty tyrant. Case in point; the flood. In a snit God attempts to wipe out not only the human race, but every thing tha creeps, and crawls. Thus the redaction and insert of Noah. Otherwise the whole time line and redemption idea is no longer valid.

God....Evil Blind and petty, stuck with an ultimate creation smarter than He, Tuff being a Supreme being, eh?

Boneless Rib-eye,well marbled garlic, olive oil and butter spread. Olive oil n garlic baked potatoes, Served with Blue Moon in 14oz glasses then topped off with coffee ......love those rib-eye steak and garlic, who can cook without garlic? No ambulance needed

since every thing in the bible can be shot down with reason, why would you still believe in a god?.

it's like a massive weight has been lifted off of me, especially when it comes to having to go to the meetings.

I don't have demon problems since leaving the wt, wonder why?......Hmmmm, maybe because they already have me and don't have time to persecute an ex- jw. Glad your having fun with yours Farkle...

Some days a diamond, some days a stone. No better, nor worse than the average person faces. The only difference, I no longer have the wt riding me like a donkey. I get to stand on my own two feet and face life as I feel I should, my decisions, my thoughts, my mistakes are mine.
