  Damm Skippy they don't. I have been in hospital twice in the last two years. My good friend took time to visit. Kathy and I are members of a local Presbyterian Church, very seldom attend, but the Church Pastor came for visits and Church members prepared meals that were dropped off at home so Kathy and my daughter didn't have to cook. Even my daughters drunken husband took the kids to his parents house when it wasn't time for his visitation weekend.

  As I said above the night my father died there wasn't a jw to be found. Old tired infirm jw's are cast aside. You get no more favors, or help from anyone who are jw. Funeral service the jw's rush the bereaved like a pack of wild dogs, lobbing love bombs right and left.

  What a twisted life to live.

  The most insidious and poisonous blowback from an END TIMES obsession in this religion is that the FUTURE is fantasy only and not a REAL EVENT which requires actual preparation in a practical way.........Terry....

  Yup...no question about that point and sadly for those of us who left thirty or, forty years ago it may have taken years to get that wt haze out of our mind. I was forty-two before seeking higher education. My daughter was eighteen going to college, and there was dear old dad going to college as well. Something wrong with that picture.

  Although the late process has helped in old age, it was wt think that held me back from doing what I should have done when I was twenty-five, instead of forty-two. Of course I suppose could have become a full bore wt company man, perhaps working my way to the top, becoming a bethel heavy weight, or gb member. We all had that option, yet which would be the practical road to follow with less chance of failure?

  Terry, didn't know that about the family you used as an example. Shameful and I'm speechless. Suppose I shouldn't be, since this practice is organization wide.

  The night my father died there wasn't a jw to be found. If the hospital hadn't called and told me to get my butt up there Dad would have died alone. You see there was a person on the hospital staff who knew he was my father and she gave my number to the nurses station.

  The wtbts is nothing more than carrion feeding off a dead carcass. Done here, lets move to the next. Sewer rats...

  Ya know I dont believe in Satan, or the devil. But I do believe that the jehovah's witnesses memorial of jesus christ does have some type of masonic roots.....none what ever.

  Per Christian belief and commentary from the Bible itself not "partaking in remembrance of me" is a rejection of Christ, as James and WTW have pointed out.

  Now, if you are of a mind to realize a large group of people come together to celebrate Jesus sacrifice and do not partake, due to the teachings ofmen, then that would at least be a machination of Satan, not a Satanic Ritual.

  I too have been concerned about your being MIA....are you doing straight readings of your work or, using the style of Vachel Lindsay? Since you stated some where in costume. Come when you can. The door is always open, a comfortable chair in which to be seated, next to a slow burning fire, with a tankard of buttered rum to stave off the chill.

  Terry and I meet with some "brothers and sisters" from long ago, who are now ex-jws. A most pleasing and pleasant evening.
