  LOL, give me a good doughnut and I'll consider myself hushed. I love sweet stuff...so I was sorely disappointed. Maybe they taste better in NC than they do in California (where I had it).

  i just can't believe it!

  after sending the elders a letter (see http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/91796/1.ashx) we get a letter from elder s. that he understands that families are busy, can't be reached for short notice meetings, yada yada yada.

  so they are setting another meeting for june 12. .

  hi i was wondering if anyone can answer this for me .i am not a jehovahs witness .

  i have a friend who is a jehovahs witness , and claims that men and women cannot be friends .i am sure that jesus was friends with females , and i am also sure that some of the anointed had friends of the opposite sex .i just don't know how to go about to finding something in the bible to back up who is correct .thank you for any input .

  Isn't that stupid? Like the sister is so full of lust that she wouldn't be able to contain herself and she'd have to throw herself on some nasty guy. But people really do think that way! My mom felt the same way.

  In some minds, a man can not sit in the back seat of a car with a woman.

  The front seat too, Rich! There was a brother in my congregation (an older, odd gentleman) who asked my sister to sit in the back seat (he was driving) so that people didn't get the wrong idea.
