TAH DAHHH!!!!
I got it done Friday night after work. It's a true to life tattoo of my cat Bucky. It's shiny b/c I had just put some vitamin E on it. I must say that towards the end of the session, I didn't think I was going to make it...there was a lot of shading and the artist kept having to go over already tender areas. But I made it and it was totally worth it. I LOVE MY TATTOO!!!!

jojo, I'm sure you had the best intent, but that sure is bad advice for someone with an adictive personality or someone likely to develop alcoholism.
i wasn't advising anyone to do it...i was just telling stilla why it feels like you're cured. sorry... luv, jojo

You know how you fight fire with fire - this is no bullshit -the best way to cure a hangover is with alcohol-
OOO!!! OOO!!! OOO!!!! here's my chance to share something i learned.
ok. here is how alcohol ''cures'' a hangover. when you drink, 2 chemicals (can't remember names) are introduced into your system. the first one that you body breaks down is the easiest, and this technically is your drunk feeling. then after you pass out/go to bed, your body starts working on the 2nd chemical that is much harder to break down. it takes a lot out of your system to break this chemical down, so that's why you feel so $hitty. so when you wake up and go ''Uuuggghhhh''... and then go slam a beer or bloody mary or whatever....guess what?! your body reverts back to breaking down the easy chemical, so you don't feel $hitty anymore.
TAH-DAH! i've been wanting to share this with people since i learned it.
oh...and my cure for a hangover is a #2 from mcdonalds, large coffee, and large orange juice.

(((((((((CJ))))))))))))))
as a person who has lived w/ meth heads and been addicted to coke, i feel your pain.
when i finally moved back home w/ my mother to get clean, we constantly came home to death threats on our answering machine. i had lost my cell phone in the users house and they started calling everyone in my phonebook. they left a message on my sisters phone threatening to kill her and her little boy....
THAT is when i got GODDAMNED PISSED!
you can threaten me all you want...my mother and father even....but when it comes to my niece and nephew, i take that $hit personal! i called them and told them that if they EVER even thought of calling anyone in my family again, i would personally escort the cops to their hideout.
they never called again.
the best thing to do is to lock your door, never ever make an effort to talk to them but still be cordial if they greet you. keep calling the law enforcement. if your local cops won't help, go higher, if the DEA won't help, go higher...someone will eventually help you.
meth/coke/speed users are very high strung people and are very paranoid. it's easy to piss them off, so be careful....i'm not trying to scare you, but i want you to be safe.
much love

Has anyone else had this experience?
by DevonMcBride ini was speaking with an ex-jw the other day and she told me that before she was df'd when she tried to anti-witness to her jw relatives, an elder found out and threatened physical harm to her dog.
this isn't the first time i have heard about inactive or free thinking jw's being physically or emotionally threatened.
other than disfellowshipping and shunning, did any of you ever experience any physical or emotional obstacle or threat when trying to anti-witness to jw friends, family and acquaintainces?

Watchtower Prophesy Guide: Armagedon by 2000AD
by unclebruce in"year 2000" and "20th century" quotations .
from the watchtower societys cd-rom.
following are watchtower bible & tract society predictions of armageddon in the 20th century as found through a word search of the wtss cd-rom.. the society also quoted many secular sources that emphasized crisis in the 20th century.. such secular crisis-quotes would have reinforced in jw minds the prophecies of the world ending in the 20th century.. the following is a list of such secular quotes plus a few more of the wtss own comments.
