OMG!!!! LMAO!!!! that is so funny! me and matt have a bassett hound as well as a PB. we always wondered what they would look like if you mixed them together. Bassetts are so comical looking to me! I love our Johnny Blaze. he's quite a character.

first of all......let me start off by saying this. i am NOT intending in ANY WAY to start any arguments with this topic. i understand that some people do not like the breed and never will. i am merely posting this for people who are already lovers of the breed, (such as kwintestal and myself), and people who are interested.

I basically just wanted to post 2 sites that i found that are very interesting and informative.

1. www.badrap.org (Bay Area Doglovers Responsible About Pitbulls) There's a lot of good information and a lot of cute merchandise. check it out!

2. www.ATTS.org (American Temperment Testing Society) They grade dogs on their temperments. Pit bulls scored higher than a lot of other breeds. 83.4% I looked up more breeds on their site and found suprising stuff! Dogs that you think would be very even temperd are not. Some dachsund breeds only got a 66%, cocker spaniels 75% (i agree w/ this one, b/c i had to get stitches thanks to my moms) scottish terrier 65%...etc. just check it out. interesting stuff!

so please...if you're gonna hate...just don't do it here. i try to keep my trheads peaceful w/out a lot of drama. like i said before. this is just to inform those who already love PB's or are interested.

Tattoo you?

ok, i've been watching the show "inked" on a&e and i think it's a really cool show about tattoo artists in las vegas.

and lately i've been thinking about getting a tattoo somewhere on my body, possiblely my lower back.

my sister has one there and i think it's really cool.

i have one on my hip. just a little thing, but i'm planning on getting an entire back piece done someday.

the pain varies from person to person. they say that females tend to do better b/c of our high pain threshold. it also depends on where you get it on your body. the less fat that is there, the more it will hurt. mine was similar to someone scratching the same area over and over again. it's basically a controlled abrasion. mine was more uncomfortable than painful. little twinge here and there. my back piece will hurt like a muther effer i know...getting tattooed anywhere near your spinal area is kinda painful from what i here. they could have just been sissies though.

there's a wonderful rush after though that i can't describe. from all the endorphins i guess.

Honey, let me tell you that you will never be emotionally, financially or mentally prepared for this. You just do it and make it up as you go with a few solid guidelines.

very true. i just think that i maybe have some of that selfish teenager left in me, where all i want to do is have fun, go out drinking w/ my friends, and one on one time with matt (if ya know what i mean )

if i did happen to get pregnant, i would never regret it and be like, ''oh crap! this baby is ruining my life, blahblahblah.'' i'd just deal.

but i'd rather not have to deal right now.

another thought i had: are you getting along with your boy friend? i ask only because i have seen women try to get pregnant to save a relationship that was starting to crumble. it must be that feeling that if they are pregnant, then they are loved and feel secure. which could both be false.

me and matt are doing great actually. as a matter of fact, we're going to gatlinburg, tn at the end of the week to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. i've hear of women doing that...and i watched my sister do it. i know it's the wrong answer. i've been witness to the whole thing backfiring. so no...that's not it.

after reading your responses, i've come to 2 conclusions....

maybe it's the whole evolutionary thing like tetrapod said...or maybe it's loneliness like rayvin said. my family has cut me off pretty much.

i just keep reminding myself that i could hardly get out of bed at 4 am when we were housetraining our puppy. i don't need a kid.

i know that i have no business whatsoever having a child right now. i'm only 20, and i highly doubt that i'm anywhere close to being emotionally, financially, or mentally prepared for this. But yet i still wake up every day, wishing for morning sickness, weird cravings...anything to signal a pregnancy. WHY??? i see a pregnant lady walk by and i wish i were her. i want to experience giving birth. i see a couple pushing a baby in a stroller...i want to be them...

BUT I KNOW I DON'T NEED THIS RIGHT NOW!!!!

is my biological clock ticking? i thought that didn't happen till your late thirties...is this a phase that all women in their early 20's go through?

or am i just insane?
