since some of us are still active and have to hide our so-called apostate literature, i am curious about where some of you keep it.
i have to leave it at my workplace.
i manage, however, to have one book at home.
Wow Confession:
That really is paranoid. I had been out since about 1998 so sometimesI forget just how I was when I was in, however I didn't even think about reading C of C until around 2005.
First for me the generation change made me wonder then going to Randy's site and then here back in 2005 and finding out about the UN scandal. It just seems like a domino effect after that - you see one flaw and inconsistency right after another- The light of seeing the deception gets brighter!
I'm hoping that some of the writers consider having some of their books available in ebook or preferably kindle format and available on Amazon. You can hide the literature easier and it is readily more available.

i broke down and ordered an amazon kindle out of weakness.
i just couldn't resist!
i love new technology and gadgets that make life easier.
Well I got my Amazon Kindle on the 11th and I love it!!! I have been to manybooks.net and gutenberg. I bought The Road but haven't read it yet. I subscribed to Reader's Digest. I used the nownow function and asked it a question and received 3 answers later. Used the basic web but dont use it for that. I can thin out my bookshelves now. There are still some features Im figuring out on this thing but I love it!
What is also nice about this technology is that some people who use this are also writers and are getting their stuff published in kindle format and selling their stuff at the amazon kindle store bypassing the bigger publishers.

it sounds interesting i have found some sites that sell it though it is expensive and i have seen sites that explain the benefits of the processing.
i discussed it with a couple of people and they said they wouldn't try it but i might but i wouldn't spend the money for it, lol.

is it me, or does this awards show purely stink this year?
!.
I couldn't believe the country song "I wanna check you for ticks", LOL and it was good to see Tina still be able to pull off proud mary at 68 years of age! Go TINA!!

i'm not much of a reader really, but i'm halfway through reading this book at the moment and i am really enjoying it.
stephen king has such a wild imagination, he really is a truly talented man.. i loved the film aswell, i think jack nicholson's acting in this film is sublime.
jack's acting combined with king's imagination, and stanley kubrick's directing combine to form a true masterpiece.. any other fans of this book/film?.
I read it when I was about 16 and I enjoyed it. I haven't read any of his books in a long time, however the doctor I work for has given me a couple of new books by him; one being his newest Duma Key I need to start.

what have you been doing today?
i have spent the last 7 hours, deleting emails.
i had over 7000, when i started.
wow! that's a lot of emails. I will have to delete a lot sometime. I use thunderbird to pull in my gmail and once when I updated the program I lost all my mail I had on it. I dont know where all my emails went but strangly the email addresses in my address book was still there. I have all my emails stored online when I check my gmail account online and I went into the preferences and checked something and it sent all my email history into Thunderbird; it was very strange. There is a lot of stuff I dont throw away either; never know when it will come in handy. No wonder my place is cluttered, lol.
What did I do today? Nothing!! and it was quite enjoyable. Though I feel guilty for not going into the office and working some. My department is slammed and work is backlogged but I need some rest or I will burnout and get carpal tunnel in both hands.

call it my anal retentious streak, but i've rated every book i've ever read since i was 7. i had phases of favourite writers.. i was an enid blyton fan - the faraway tree, famous five, secret seven, mallory towers series.
then i got hooked on franklin w dixon's hardy boys and judy blume's eye opening, straight talking stories about growing up which really taught me everything i knew about what life was like for a normal girl not growing up in the jw world.
i started reading agatha christie when i was 9 and remember taking the maximum number of books i could from the mobile library van that came to our village and being as impatient for its fortnightly return as i was for the afternoon icecream van.
When I was a kid my favorite books were by Beverly Cleary and the characters in her books. Beezus and Ramona series with Otis Spofford and Henry Higgins and Ellen Tebbetts and her book about a mouse Runaway Ralph. Of course I liked A Wrinkle In Time and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
