my wife recently became a citizen and when she was registered to vote, she was very excited....now she is with the mindset that though earthly governments are important due to keeping some semblance of order, voting only brings one farther from jehovah because it makes one more of this world....what is the current view on voting, is it one of those things that is stated to be a matter of conscience, but one is strongly frowned upon if they actually make a decision to do it?

i have enjoyed seeing this musician explode upon the music scene in the last 15 years or so.
his mix of blues, jazz, rock & roll with great musicians playing uncommon instruments seen in a rock band - make his music all the more interesting !

Anyway, No wonder I see so many people doing their grocery shopping at Sams and other similar places where they can buy in bulk since everything is coming in smaller packages. I have noticed that laundry detergent is even more concentrated and a lot of time time I dont know how much to add since sometimes the measuring line is hard to see, lol

I read Helter Skelter about 6 years ago thinking after reading about the Mason case and seeing both movies. I remember watching the debut of the 2 part movie back in 1976 when I was just a kid and how scary it was. However everything I knew about the case paled in comparison with the details of the book that isn't mentioned much; like the knives used in the killings were sharpened on both sides and how deep the stab wounds were and some of the other unsolved murders at the time that could have been linked to "the family".

Like Doris Tate (Sharon's mother) said society has been kind to Ms. Atkins by sparing her life (she was originally given the death penalty and should already be dead) which is a lot more consideration than she gave to Sharon Tate and her unborn child and others she was involved in killing. She never came out and apologized all these years to the victim's family and she lied over the years about what actually happened and that doesn't sound like a very remorseful person. The only way she should be let out of prison is if she is carried out in a pine box.
Read Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi. Both movie adaptions didn't cover a lot of the other details that the book did.
