To all JDub lurkers: How can you continue to preach knowing that you are telling lies?
by macys inthis is a damn serious question.
you must know by now that jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 bce and that 607 was initially picked by ct russell by using his "pyramid scheme" measurements.
there is no hiding these facts yet you continue to preach this nonsense.

Disposable heromof hypocracy and Konceputual:
If you go to meetings at the KH there may be others there that may not be baptized witnesses, some who are studying and leaning about the organization and trying to figure out whether or not what they are teaching is the truth. If you are present at the meeting whether you know it or not people are observing you and are probably thinking to themselves “brother so and so has been attending meetings for a long time so it must be the truth”; Now you may not be attending meetings because you believe it to be the truth, you may be attending to keep ties with your family but not everybody that see you going to the meetings are going to know that. Just by showing up and being present and being counted indirectly enables the organizations existence.
I completely understand why some people are still connected to this religion and I’m not judging them for it as I still have relatives in and my relationship with them has been distant over the past years as I faded and they became more active. However whether you realize it or not your actions have an influence on how others see the organization.

Anytime you set foot in a KH and attend meetings and are counted while being seated you are in effect preaching this BS by your actions; you are in effect showing others around you that you endorse this bullshit weather you are going to keep ties with friends and family or not.

Anybody take up coloring? I got Lost Ocean By Johanna Basford and I got another coloring book Mandalas and More. I just use Crayola colored pencils and some gel pens and thin tipped markers.
The Lost Ocean pictures can involve a little more detail coloring than I would like and that's why I would like to get more coloring books to have a variety.

35 Years Ago Today - John Lennon - Peace Advocate was Murdered
by flipper inin this age of violence with the san bernardino and france massacres sometimes it's good to reflect on the wise words of the peace advocates among us who proposed a better solution in bringing a more civil society to our universe.
john lennon, martin luther king jr. - people who stood up for equal rights and world peace and denounced violence and war - no matter how that violence occurs.
please feel free to comment on stories of john lennon on this thread and feel free to post any you tubes of his music that you may have enjoyed through the years.

Flipper:
My comment wasn't to completely trash John Lennon. It's just that people elevate him to such a godlike status it's irritating instead of presenting a picture of a guy with flaws, warts and all. I spent my hard-earned lawnmowing money on some of his records when I was a kid. I remember hearing the morning news of his death years ago when I was getting ready for school. I was 13 years old.
I think he had a problem with jealousy. I was listening to a Carole King interview when he and McCartney met her and her then husband Gerry Goffin and she said that he was kinda rude her and then later she found out that he wanted he and McCartney to be the next "Goffin/King" success. Ironically "Jealous Guy" is one of my favorite songs by him, lol

FLIPPER:
Nobody has to die to make me "god" to judge anybody. I'm just simply calling it as I see it. It would be easier to take notice of an "advocate of peace" from somebody who actually practices what he preaches instead of the said advocate beating the shit out of his wife and cheating on her and neglecting his first born son while singing "living life in peace." So we all make mistakes and are human; my point in posting his flesh and blood's quote, from somebody who knew him better than you did.LRG

John Lennon wasn't always what everybody thought he was.
"I have to say that, from my point of view, I felt that he was a hypocrite. Dad could talk about peace and love out loud to the world but he could never show it to the people who supposedly meant the most to him; his wife and son. How can you talk about peace and love and have a family in bits and pieces - no communication, adultery, divorce? You can't do it, not if you're being true and honest with yourself." Julian Lennon
