I would make sure I got an attorney who would go for the jugular!! Not only that I would knock the shyte out of my nosey-assed sister for flapping your jaws into something that was none of her business!! I hope your friend does the right thing and takes action that will show that they cannot treat him that way and trample on his right as a parent!

JWs required to report medical information to elders
by Elsewhere inthere was an article, i believe in the awake!, that talks about a hypothetical medical worker who in a hypothetical situation comes to find out that a jw has accepted a medical procedure that is not accepted by the wts.
this hypothetical worker must decide where or not she will report the hypothetical violation to the elders.
does anyone recall where i can find this article?

I work in healthcare and exposed to private information and have come across sensitive information of different patients and some were active JWs who have had multiple sex partners while active and unmarried, etc.; however I never disclosed any information to anybody else including elders back when I was active. At that time I just came to the conclusion that nothing ever stays hidden and eventually things will be found out, just not by me. Also the medical record or charts of patients do not elaborate specific details about everything and circumstances.

Have you a POSITIVE JW experience??
by ScoobySnax inok sometimes i feel it's good to maybe not redress the balance, but at least can you say something positive that you gained from your jw experience.
so thats what i want you to do, if you so feel inclined.
can you say or mention something that had a positive effect on you when you were a witness?

I guess one positive thing about being a witness in my teens and 20s was my sexual repression in that I wasn't reckless and had multiple sex partners and put myself in risk of getting HIV like so many of my friends are living with now.
