i was just wondering if anyone could give me the proper procdure on throwing someone out of the hall?

i recently found out that a good friend of mine was basicly kicked out of the hall.

she was raised in the truth but then decided not to go to the meetings anymore.

People that behave in that manner have no idea what real love, kindness, warmth and understanding towards another human being is, and therefore have no clue as to what God is about.

Are all sins "equal" to the JW's.

if a witness plays lotto, and doesn,t repent, he is disfellowshipped.. if a witness steals, and doesn't repent, he is disfellowshipped.. if a witness fornicates, and doesn't repent, he is disfellowshipped.. does this mean that the jw's consider playing lotto being just as bad as stealing or fornicating or even killing?.

how about you, in what order would you class sins?.

Out of curiousity, what if you are a witness who fornicates, repents, and then continues to repeat this pattern of behaviour? What happens to you then?

i have been concerned since i read on a couple of posts about the pro-jw documentary which is in the works to be publicly aired on pbs.

i studied the website, and it looks extremely favorable to watchtower.

I could not find any contact info for Joel P. Engardio, but did find that in 1995 he helped write an article regarding the Watchtower, with Kenneth L. Woodward which can be found on the Watchtower.observer.org site (link included here) titled "Apocalypse Later"

«THE THIRD MILLENNIUM is just four years away, and you'd think that Jehovah's Witnesses would be ecstatic. Ever since the movement's inception in the 1870s, the Witnesses have insisted that the world as we know it is about to end. According to their unique Biblical calculations, the countdown to Armageddon commenced in 1914 -- the first world war was a major sign -- and Christ would establish his millennial kingdom on earth "before the generation who saw the events of 1914 passes away." For countless Witnesses, this prediction was good reason not to save money, start a career or make burial plans. As one of their leaders famously preached in 1918: "Millions now living will never die."

Now, it seems, all millennial bets are off. But those who hoped to witness the battle of Armageddon and the establishment of God's kingdom on earth will have to wait. Henceforth, any generation that experiences such calamities as war and plagues like AIDS could be the one to witness the end times. In short, the increasingly middle-class Witnesses would do well to buy life insurance.

Just a tiny bit of extra information on those who are actually doing the documentary. I think it's a good idea to get as many as possible to email PBS to ask that they be fair in their coverage of the Watchtower Society and the JW's themselves.

You are far from alone. Grab hold of the life raft, we'll make room.

Thanks! I know I am not alone in this feeling. It's just a tough realization that to find that someone you cared about and trusted with every fiber of your being has fooled you so completely. It also makes trusting again a difficult task.

I was fooled into believing that I had a true friend once. One person I would have trusted with my life, with my children's lives. Tough lesson to learn that I was so very wrong about that. I got used but hard, and the worst was I never once saw it coming. I was blind to it until the very end. Very painful and eye-opening experience to be sure.
