  a group of victims and their supporters are lobbying for congressional hearings into clergy sexual abuse, a crime that occurs in every religion, often facilitated, they say, by laws that vary from state to state.. ``if they heard what i've heard, i believe congress would be blown away,'' said john harris, who says he was raped when he was a 21-year-old college student by the rev.

  paul shanley, one of the central figures in the archdiocese of boston's scandal.. harris was one of a half-dozen people who met monday with u.s. rep. stephen lynch (d-south boston) to urge him to call for bipartisan hearings into the ``epidemic'' that became national news in 2001 with boston's scandal, but is hardly unique to the roman catholic church.

  Thank you I am glad to here the information. Most of my family believe the 7000 year day and have toed the company line in regards the creation book. If they change and give this New Light to all the drones it will difinitely charge up my families batteries.

  here i go, a friend and i was working together we had left his 16 year old daughter to baby set my 4 year old daughter.

  I felt totally betrayed finding out the man was a sexual predator. He lives right beside me. I can go on line and see his face on the police sexual predators site. The PO when he found out that the man had baby sitted for us warned me to be careful who I was leaving my kids with. I questioned the PO closer and was able to read between the lines but PO never actually told me. This man to this day baby sits for people in the area. He was a regular sitter for a young single sister for over a year before she was finally warned in a maner that left know doubt as to who he was. I tell people who he is any more. I am now longer controled by the Borg. We have two brothers in the congregation that are molesters and one Elder that has been accused by his daughter and grand daughter but they refuse to talk to the Borg for fear they will be DF for something. The Borg said if the daughter and grand daughter refuses to cooperate their charges is not true. There are only 65 publishers in the local congregation. A lot of molesters if you ask me.

  Thanks all of you. I tell you something else about the congregation. We had a new brother move in and we became friends my wife never trusted him. I thought she was overly protective. He had children of his owen so I thought he was safe. I say it now nothing happened but it could have. He is registered second degree sex offender. Know one knew for three years until the law caught up with him. What pissed me off the PO knew he had the records. I let this man baby sit my kids.

  At the time this happened I followed what the Elders told me to do. But I knew they were wrong. We just tried putting out of our mind. Before this happened my girl slept in her room with the lights off. For over a year she had to sleep with us with the lights on. She started to pee the bed something she never did before the rape. We just p retended nothing happened and never realy handle it at the time except we told her that it was wrong and she had the right to feel hurt. Also to tell us if anyone ever did that to her again. Me being a drone thought at the time I was a good dad protecting Jehovah.

  ever wonder why the od book is provided to jw "publishers" only and not included on the wt library cd?.

  could you imagine what the general public would do with the ability to quote df/da procedure, field service reporting rules, baptism questions, contribution policy, organization hierarcy, and fds authority statements directly from the jw manual?.

  1 billion internet users expected in 2005...in the next five years many internet users will be supplementing pc internet usage with smartphone and mobile device internet usage...growth of internet users will continue in the developing countries for another decade.
