  Good observation Judge Dread...none of the jargon used is used by a JW. And even the term debater is not a term used by JWs in a good light. JWs are told not to get involved in debates.

  had a good look into the doctrine, beliefs and practices of jws and to be honest, i don't really see anything wrong with it at all.. it's biblical and i've had such an eye opener the past year or so reading some of their books and magazines .

  is there really any real reasons why i shouldn't want to get involved further?

  Obves:

  Read 1 Thessalonians 5.1-3 in its context...like the entire chapter. It is not a long-range prophecy...but simply telling the people of that time that when they think they are secure in life death will come and they do not escape judgment.

  Jesus' Physical Resurrection = Take the Ransom Back?

  in my "study," we have encountered the matter of whether or not jesus' physical body rose from the dead.

  i brought up a couple of scriptures that seem to indicate physical (john 2:18-22 and john 10:17,18).

  the jw's i am "studying" with explained how, although those verses may appear to indicate physical, jesus couldn't have meant that because if he physically rose from the dead, he would have taken back the ransom.. now that i know the wt reasoning on this, can someone point me to another source, link, book, article, etc.

  SD-7, bail is refunded when the person shows up in court. It is simply insurance the person will showup.
