I refer to the kh as 'church' to outsiders...using kh only in telling them how JWs do not call their places of worship 'churches'.

Ok, but what about:

Although, that is Former referring to the kh as church...not his still-JW parents. So,...perhaps on the up and up.

I highly doubt Former is Debator. Former is not defending the org in any way but is coming here for help.

Are they really that bad???

had a good look into the doctrine, beliefs and practices of jws and to be honest, i don't really see anything wrong with it at all.. it's biblical and i've had such an eye opener the past year or so reading some of their books and magazines .

is there really any real reasons why i shouldn't want to get involved further?

LC, also certain mis-spellings unquie to Reniaa..such as the term Debator. She used that term once by calling me a good debator. LOL Searching this site for the term you will find its use by Reniaa and as the name of the poster Debator...and other terms such as ATM (for at the moment)...and I thought someone here said she used both name inadvertantly in a comment.
I am not sure about an intermediary personna, although we did have some crazies come through. LOL
