I do not have my WTCD here..but perhaps someone can run it and see how the WT uses the Matthew, and how what it says regarding the 12 tribes.

I have bookmarked your site. Two of your paragraphs really spoke to me:
Fourth, since the Jehovah’s Witnesses believe the twelve tribes of Israel at Revelation 7:1-8 are the anointed 144,000 and they are to judge the twelve tribes of Israel pursuant to Luke 22:28-30 and Matthew 19:28, they end up judging themselves.
That is just astonishing in what the Wt is asking us to believe. Thank you for pointing that out.
My reply:
Actually Perry if you ask a JW this it would obviously stump them. But I do believe the WT assert that the 12 tribes spoken of in Matthew mean something different from the 12 tribes in Rev. They never mention the two verses at the same time...but define them in different ways. -

Do You Tend To Believe New Posters When They Tell Us What Bethel's Up To?
by minimus incircuit overseers were supposed to be a thing of the past.
"presiding overseers" were supposed to take over.. there seem to be certain people "in the know" that reveal information and it may sound very convincing-- but is it??.
do you tend to believe what new posters say if they tell us about "new light" from the organization?.

The rest is all unconfirmed and speculatory/

No, not really. I don't tend to buy into those speculations from newbies or long-time posters unless some sort of letter, or definitive statement that can be taken no other way is stated and confirmed.

Are they really that bad???
by anonymous4 inhad a good look into the doctrine, beliefs and practices of jws and to be honest, i don't really see anything wrong with it at all.. it's biblical and i've had such an eye opener the past year or so reading some of their books and magazines .
is there really any real reasons why i shouldn't want to get involved further?

Debator/Reniaa says: " The watchtowers and other publications are to support the Bible and they are never said to be inspired which means they do have to be refined all the time."
My reply: But the Wt failed the test of being refined BIG-TIME! In 1918 they were sent away into Babylonish captivity due to being unclean in ways such as celebrating Christmas and using the cross. They were supposedly released from this refining captivity in an unrefined state. They were still practicing these same 'unclean practices. This belies their claim that God then appointed these dirty, apostate false Christians as his earthly steward, since they refused to be refined.

Your accusations only fit if we do claim inspiration for our publications as Jehovah's witnesses this last 100+ years But we do not and never have claimed inspiration!
My reply:
Only (according to the WT) when we are speaking of the WT. When the WT is speaking of other religions, it is simply announcing a date that something is going to happen and stamping God's name on it. The WT uses two sets of scales- one for themself and another for all others. However, they do on one hand deny inspiration...but on the the other hand claim to be God's modern-day prophet and his earthly channel of communication...negating any denial of inspiration.
Face it Reniaa, the org that you idolize and aspire to defend (but not be a part of as you frequent apostate websites and don't go to meetings or in service) is a false prophet and YOU are a false prophet for defending them. Reniaa you false prophet you!!

My question remains unanswered...so I will answer it for you Reniaa.
I asked why Jesus chose the WT in 1919 to be his earthly channel when they were still celebrating Christmas and using crosses (assuming they are wrong).
The answer? He didn't! The WT claims that 2 of the facotrs that caused them to be allowed to be sent away into Babylonish captivity in 1918 were:
“celebrating pagan holidays such as Christmas;”
and use of the cross is mentioned. These are listed in Jehovah's Witness in the Divine Purpose, page 91. So Reniaa , since the Wt claims this made them unclean and got them sent away, they obviously were not then released from captivity and appointed earthly steward of God’s belongings in 1919 when they stayed unclean for at least 10 more years IN THE SAME ACTS THAT GOT THEM SENT AWAY. Fleshly Israel was freed from Babylonish captivity AFTER they gave up their wrong and idolatrous practices.

The Jews interpreted prophecy wrong all the time but it did not stop them being God's people. Jesus himself had to explain which prophecies he fulfilled concerning the Messiah, hundreds of them.
My reply: LOL Sure. They didn't publish it, claim it was God's words and then demand everyone agree with it and preach it. The WT has. Even though you are not a JW Reniaa you are a false prophet, defending the world's biggest false prophet. And, by the way..in Acts 1 they asked Jesus a question- they did not insst they knew the answers like the WT does.
