I worked with Ciro for four years and the man in the first photo is not Ciro. I recently saw a photo of Ciro taken by a visitor to Bethel and he still looked like the Ciro I remember. The man in the first photo does not even resemble Ciro.
In the second photo just posted, the man at the head of the table on the left is Ciro.

We did try to get coverage for the Zalkin case but the media wanted to know the amount of the settlement and we couldn't provide that, so no go. I don't think the Conti case would have had much coverage outside of the N. California area except that the jury award was the largest for a single victim of child abuse that every happened. That was the hook. There wasn't one for the Zalkin case even though Mr. Zalkin sent important documents to show the worst possible side of the WT religion.

Yes, the public domain files explicitly show that Campos was molesting children before and after being appointed an ms and elder.
There are many extraordinary "Exhibits" in the documents that came from WT of NY and from local elders that they tried not to give up during the discovery process. Even went to the judge to argue why they shouldn't have to give up the letters, etc. to the Plaintiffs. But he didn't fall for their pleadings. It's in these Exhibits that you will read the details of what the elders and WT knew about Campos and it wasn't pretty! No claim of holy spirt made by WT. (As things turned out, I think they probably would have liked to say that "the devil made them do it - appoint him, that is.)

The Campos deposition is very interesting, especially where he admits to molestation after molestation over the years. These are not allegations by Plaintiffs. In fact, in the court records it's revealed that this man confessed to elders at different times the molestation of different kids. When he was accused, most times he admitted what he had done, but would repent so was forgiven. Nobody ever went to the authorities so he continued his acts of perversion and finally he fled to Mexico. I have not asked why he has not been extradited by the authorities to the US but I'm going to.

On tonight's episode of Rock Center, hosted by Brian Williams, the show will take a closer look into the brutality of sex abuse crimes that plague too many foreign exchange students within the U.S. Making a special appearance on the show will be none other than our very own, Attorney Irwin Zalkin. The episode will play out much like an exposé, casting a discerning eye on the terrors faced by some victims of sexual abuse who were perpetrated by the same families that invited the foreign exchange students into their homes for a long-term stay overseas. Currently, more than 25,000 visas are granted to high school students that come to the United States to spend an academic semester or school year in another country. These students are often parented by individuals who unsuspectingly shell out tens of thousands of dollar to the organizations that have been approved by the State Department to house minors studying abroad.
Specifically, the show will look into the fact that many of these students are sexually taken advantage of by a host family member with a predatory past. The recent case that Mr. Zalkin handled concerning four victims of sexual abuse will be referenced in relation to the news story's overall investigation.
