I emailed the producer asking for clarification about "identities protected" and this is what she said:
When they speak with me or Skype with me, their identity is protected. Our interviews are private. But if they are cast for the documentary show, we can't blur out a main character (if we are featuring their story). I can always speak to them personally and explain the time line and more about the process.

i was informed yesterday that a us cable tv channel named investigation discovery will be broadcasting a 7-part series named "deadly devotion.
" one program in the series is "witness to murder" which will air wednesday evening, august 20th, probably at 9 p.m. est.
check the schedule on the internet which lists the date and time of broadcast two-weeks ahead.
Legacy, if God is cleaning house, it's about time! If Satan is attacking JWs, it's about time!
Actually, I don't speculate on anything to do with heavenly matters because I'm presently too busy trying to expose the harm done by an earthly organization - presently dba JW.ORG, formerly, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, Inc.

I don't make the rules for media. I spoke with the media representative for about an hour enlightening her. That's all I can do. We're grateful for what we can get. The program as I learned, will have quite an interesting format, so let's not be negative, OK?

I expect that younger folks attract a larger audience. (Well, that leaves me out too!)
However, glad you asked apostrate and Terry because exceptions will be made by the company. If you will send me an email, I'll send you the information from the media organization about what they are looking for in a story and then if you want to, you can email the company yourself to discuss your story.

Legacy: I didn't know that on Wednesday most JWs are at meeting?
Not in our area. It's always been Thursday or Friday nights for meetings. Here's hoping that maybe those who watch the program Wednesday evening because they attend meetings on Thursday or Friday nights, will pass the information from the program to the Wednesday night meeting attenders.
One thing for sure, lots of Bethelites (including certain Service Dept. folks) will be watching or recording the program.
