i was watching one of the extras on the knocking dvd and a woman commentator talked about a scandalous letter from the jw's to hitler and the nazi party in 1933. does anyone know where i can read this letter at?.

Leolaia - the WT is riddled with hypocrisy, if any other 'Religion' behaved the same way, the WTBTS would be (in fact does bhave) like a dog with a bone.

The paragraph before the one I quoted reads...

History recognizes that only a few groups courageously stood up and spoke out against Nazi terror. Among them were Jehovah's Witnesses, described as "a tiny island of unflagging [moral] resistance existing in the bosom of a terrorized nation." The 1933 letter (I believe) was written in April, 4 months after Hitler became Chancellor.

about 15 minutes ago, i was in the video shop when i saw a witness i knew from 5 years ago standing next to me.

assuming he was no longer a witness as he was looking at all the porn movies, i start asking him how he's been.

he then insinuates that the only reason i have 5 kids is for the social security payments.... i then come home furious...and yell at my family!.

I often forget my card my card when visiting the video shop - as long as I give my name AND address I'm allowed to hire films (one time someone hired a film on my daughter's card as they knew her address ).

I know this is sneaky, but ...you could hire a few pornos out on his account OR BETTER... pose as his partner and ask casually, ''oh, can you check if Gary/Joe/Dilbert has already hired 'Sex Trek -The Next Penetration/Throbbin' Hood/Star Whores' OR, 'can you recommend a good porno that Gary/whoever hasn't seen yet?'

SCULLY - in regard to what you just said...

Mr Midwich commutes, and occasionally I've 'commuted' down to him, and while there I've been to local video shop where he'd often hire films for himself during week. Well, as I've been there while he was at work I'VE visited the hire shop (and they didn't really know me in there) and, so as not to DUPLICATE what he'd already hired, I ASKED the assistant what films he'd hired - and she just called up his account on the computer and reeled them off to me, lol (all Steven Seagal and Jean Claude Van Damme - nothing porn/interesting).

Hello again Gill (have you really moved to Sweden, or maybe just a small branch of IKEA, lol?) As I said - I haven't followed any of this - I never watch the News, and only rarely have a Sunday newsaper.. I agree, a miscarriage of Justice (even when later acquitted) must be awful for all involved (I don't think people in this position are ever perceived totally Innocent in Society even if they are). I need to 'read up' on the case.

Why the WT Society will never sponsor a charity

the wt society has convinced jw's that they are the one true religion and everyone who is not a jw will be destroyed at armageddon.

in the mind of a jw any poor or homeless person who does not become a jw will be killed at armageddon anyway- so, why waste their money on a soup kitchen when everyone in it is just going to be killed at armageddon anyway?

now, if the wt society should ever sponsor a charity for the poor they would be saying in essence to jw's, that the end is not around the corner and maybe jw's are not the only ones who god might look favorably upon.

Yep - I remarked to a JW that as the KH is only used a few hours per week, it could open up one day to help the poor and needy - apparently this isn't done out of RESPECT for the surrounding comminity (LOL - do they make up excuses on the spot, or are they pre told what to say if asked?)

went to the chemist the other day parked near my brother in laws car in car park.he saw me and turned away.my wife went into chemist had to wait 10 minutes all the time my elder brother in law sat in car.we moved closer to supermarket as soon as we had moved i watch him go into chemist he was waiting for us to leave so he could go in.. i then went into supermarket i watched him do a whole lap of the car park walking so he wouldn,t have to walk past my car with wife and kids in.

he thought the coast was clear didn,t know i was in there so i ambushed him in an isle smiled said hello he smiled said hello then the jw shunning part of his brain kicked in head down walk straight and frown.. saw my mother in car latter and she covered her face .

i think they feel uncomportable.

Cases usually take a long time to come to trial - there are many reports to be made and evidence to be collected. The CPS (Crown Prosection Service) is reluctant to pursue anything where there is not enough evidence.
