Hello all, I posted a while back about my cousin whom is in the hospital because he lost his leg in an accident at work. He almost didn't make it becasue he refused blood. I haven't been that close to him because he was not allowed to play with us (all his other cousins that weren't JW) when we were little~~ we are in our 30's now. But since his bad accident, I haven't been able to stop thinking about him and want him to know that all of his cousins are thinking about him. He is in New York and we are in Indiana. I am going to write him a letter and I haven't spoken but a few words to him in my whole life. I feel that blood is thicker than water and all our family is very very close, BUT HIM because of his religion. I want him to know how much we are pulling for him and think about him often. My cousins and I are on the phone once a week and talk about him and hope he is doing well..
My question is, what the hell should I tell him.. Besides hey, we have been thinking about you often and even though we are your "wordly family" we want you to know how much we love you and think about you. I know this sounds silly, but we have been very worried about him and I don't want to put the wrong thing in the letter. I just don't really know what to say. He has been in contact with a lot of his family since the accident that aren't JW so what the heck do I say?
Thanks for the advice,
Maggie
