our outlooks and perceptions of reality are varied and often fascinating.

A medium I saw here in the North West UK has a website www.happy-medium.co.uk he was good but not the best I've known. When my friend saw him, his face actually took on some of the features of her dad and he told her a private joke that they shared.

These were extremely vivid dreams of both Husbands. I've also posted these before...
My first Husband, started out with me looking for him, everywhere. I remember being in a room full of phone books, stacked from floor to ceiling. I sat among them, going through them one by one. Other times people would tell me they saw him somewhere, and by the time I would arrive he would have just left.
Over time I would arrive just in time to see him getting in a vehicle and leaving. I was never able to catch up. This progressed to where He would respond to my calling for him.. by turning and smiling at me.
This went on for a period of years, off and on. It came to the point that I would receive phone calls telling me he would be such and such and for me to be there. I never knew who it was on the phone, I would go and wait for him. He would arrive, but never speak to me, just smile. There was always other people around.
Again over time, we were finally in the same place, sitting at a table outside, like an outside cafe. We finally talk, he tells me he has met someone and that he is happy. I also tell him the same. We part friends. And the dreams end for good. This took place over a period of 15 years. It's been 9 years since the last one.
My Second Husband (a JW) is always in a Suit. Usually we are in line at a cafeteria (school lunch style) he never speaks to me, just nods and smiles. Sometimes I am standing right behind him. But, I am afraid to touch him.. It goes thru my mind that maybe he is not real.
I have this dream off and on for a couple years...more or less the same. Finally we met in a public place and he tells me that he has met someone and that he is Happy. I wish him well and we part friends. This took place over a period of around 6 years. It has been 4 years since the last one.
I never tried to touch either of them... it seemed off limits. These were VERY vivid dreams.
I do have to say, it seemed really odd, the way they progressed. Always moving forward, until resolved. I also think it odd that they both
told me the same thing...!!!

It's a comforting feeling to think he may have been "Healed" emotionally at some point. There had to a problem somewhere.... looking back on things.
Yes, there is fear.... My Hubby now, says... if we tried contacting... we may be sorry, since we may get more than we bargained for.....
In no way do I think you are a "Crack pot"........ I feel you have done a lot of research, and I for one appreciate it...
My dad died suddenly of a heart attack and I do think that some people who go suddenly like that tend to need a bit of healing when they get there.
My second husband died just as suddenly, from "Sudden Death Syndrome"... he was a Witness... he and I never discussed death on the same level as the first one...........since of course, we had all the answers...

No, my first husband that committed suicide was not a witness, he had been studying tho. I agree about the WTS thoughts on it ... they at first (during my studies) said that I may see him again.
Then later on it became apparent after baptism, that "I" thought wrong on that subject.

If a person really wants contact with someone who has passed, they should state clearly to the universe that this is what they are asking for. They need to give permission for that contact.
I've thought of that many times, but to be honest, it terrifies me. Why, I don't know.... makes no sense that I should be afraid of someone that meant so much to me. Just the unknown I guess.
You really think there is healing on the other side for persons that committed suicide..?

I have been widowed twice at fairly young ages. My first committing suicide at the age of 28.
Over the 10 years that that we were married… we often talked of death and tried to imagine what might be on the other side. He felt it was just a door way to the "Other Side" as he put it.
My Husband seemed obsessed with death and often brought up the thought of suicide, if things ever got to be too much for him, it was to be his escape hatch, I suppose. Sometimes he used it as a threat to get his way.
I heard it so often I didn’t give it much thought over the years. I was young and considering everything going on at the time …things just didn’t click for me.
During many of our talks of death, he always told me that when he "went" (died) that he would do "Everything" in his power to contact me from the other side. We had many long discussions over this…
I was told to "Keep on the Watch"…I honestly feel that if there is, in fact, a way for the dead to contact us, he would have done it. He would have found a way.
It has been 25 years and there has been nothing…"NOT" one thing has happened that I could honestly point to and say… "Yes, He contacted me today…"
My conclusions:
1. There is nothing after death.
2. The dead really are asleep in Jehovah’s memory.
3. The dead are not allowed to contact us.
4. They have to be invited in some manner… (which I never did)
5. That by committing suicide he lost all access to any powers.
6. Or, he is having such a "GOOD" time…he has forgotten all about me..!!

i bet he tells me to get a bit more excercise and things like that.. i have been chained to a desk for a few months and it's been too wet to work alot outside the last few dozen weekends.. we took the cover off of the pool this week... maybe it will be warm enough to use it it a few weeks.. i guess i aint leaving earth just yet.. jeff.

he was found tuesday in a utility building in his backyard with a single shotgun wound to the throat, said greg harvey, a special agent with the georgia bureau of investigation.. graham, who was director of the heritage golf tournament at sea pines from 1979 to 1983, was on the verge of congestive heart failure in 1995 when he got a call that a heart was available in charleston.. that heart was from terry cottle, 33, who had shot himself, berkeley county coroner glenn rhoad said.. grateful for his new heart, graham began writing letters to the donor's family to thank them.
in january 1997, graham met his donor's widow, cheryl cottle, then 28, in charleston.. "i felt like i had known her for years," graham told the (hilton head) island packet for a story in 2006.
... That's just odd... that poor lady... what she must be thinking...

i heard this from a friend of mine who has really, really good bethel connections.
keeping "pioneers" but doing away with the "auxilarys".... anyone else hear about this?.
Some of the witnesses I knew, myself included, felt like we were doing something "Special" when we aux. pioneered. Seems if they
take that away.......some of them may feel they are being pushed away, becoming less and less needed...
