Why the WT Society will never sponsor a charity
by moshe inthe wt society has convinced jw's that they are the one true religion and everyone who is not a jw will be destroyed at armageddon.
in the mind of a jw any poor or homeless person who does not become a jw will be killed at armageddon anyway- so, why waste their money on a soup kitchen when everyone in it is just going to be killed at armageddon anyway?
now, if the wt society should ever sponsor a charity for the poor they would be saying in essence to jw's, that the end is not around the corner and maybe jw's are not the only ones who god might look favorably upon.

Would Jesus preach in the Stanley theater? Built in 1928 as a vaudeville and movie house, the Stanley Theater is a massive Gothic-style structure. The 4,300-seat amphitheater is second in size on the East Coast to Radio City Music Hall, which was built in 1932. Jacob Fabian of Paterson, noted for theater construction in New Jersey, commissioned Fred Wesley Wentworth of Wentworth and (Frederick J.) Vreeland to built the movie palace. A glittering copper marquee spans the entrance, overhanging the solid brass doors. Over the marquee are three large arched windows. Building materials include marble from Italy, Vermont and Texas, limestone from Indiana, and granite from Maine to face the Corinthian columns.
The impressive interior has a three-story lobby adorned with columns, a broad center staircase with trompe l'oeil alabaster handrails and balusters, lamps, velvet drapes, andstained class windows of faux "Chartre Blue" in the foyer. In my home town of Bangor Maine EVERY church EXCEPT Jehovah's Witnesses have abundant charities. My mate belongs to the UU church and 45% of her membership fee goes to programs for the poor. The local Salvation army has a gourmet soup kitchen that feeds many.These aren't 'rice Christians' these are people who are destitute some helpless from severe mental illness. If i beamed down from outer space butt naked and asked for help every church in my town would be there in a heartbeat to help me. If i knocked on the Bangor Kingdom hall and did the same they would call the 911 emergency services,the police would then direct me to these church charities.The point is,the watchtower uses resources,pays no taxes same as the other churches but gives nothing back to the community.They hoard billions in a vast real estate empire. James 1:27 " Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress " (note:James didn't say anything about going door to door with the magazines,and directing followers to trust in an "invisible" government put up in 1914)

she thrust sticks down their throats when they misbehaved and made them eat dog food.. one daughter was forced to use a wheelchair for four years even though she was perfectly able to walk.. doctors, teachers and neighbours raised constant concerns about spry's treatment of the children but nothing was ever done by social services.. the catalogue of abuse only came to light when one of the children went to the jehovah's witness elders at the church the family attended.. spry, from tewkesbury, was found guilty of 26 charges of cruelty after a three week trial at bristol crown court.

There is nothing that made me gasp in horror of all WT/JW falsehoods more then this finding that it all came from the Millerite movement.
Yes,the "great disappointment"of Oct 22 1844 has never died out... it lives on in the Seventh day Adventist (who admit it) and the Jehovah's Witnesses who deny it.
