I am currently researching Jehovah’s Witnesses as they are heavily knocking on my front door and have made it into the kitchen. I have been humbled by our Lord as I was not prepared and discovered that my “thinking” was a bit off concerning the Truth of the Word. I can thank the JW’s for that J at least. The one killer picture that stands out in this publication they gave me is: In the center is a woman (not a man) holding what appears to be an open Bible (but it could be anything) in one hand and in the other, in big bold letters, a Watchtower pamphlet and behind it is an Awake (Although all you can see is an “A”)…..The picture is all backwards….they should be holding up the Bible…and nothing ELSE! Publication: “What does the Bible Really Teach?” pg. 93. I’ve also being reading about the translation of the bible to see where they got theirs….that in itself is an eye opener. They recently gave me an email they rec’d from a friend. The article sent to them and given to me was about a book called : “Truth in Translation” Accuracy and Bias in English Translations of the New Testment” Author: Jason David BeDuhn, Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff . They are using this to support their Bible, NW.
