i find it very hard for me to believe that the governing body is unaware that many of the wtbts teachings and doctrines are not only deceiving people but are also spiritually, mentally and physically harming them as well.

The man, who was jailed for five years for abusing three children, says he was abused by a priest in the early 1970s. He says that he decided to take legal action in the civil courts after the police dropped their investigation of his charges against the priest.
The man, who said he was 16 when the alleged abuse took place, told BBC Radio 4's Today program that the abuse he had suffered "reared its ugly head" in later life. He said: "I too had become an abuser of the worst kind: a pedophile. I groomed my victims in exactly the same way as a Catholic priest groomed me."
In a statement, the diocese involved told BBC: "These allegations are untrue and are totally denied."
The case is the first in which a convicted pedophile has brought legal charges against the Catholic hierarchy in Great Britain.

this was mainly due to ones whom you rarely saw flocking back because they thought armageddon was coming.
what if this almost impossible scenario occurred.

All cults instill phobias especially doomsday apocalyptic cults. My own last WT/JW indoctrination hold out was their 'prophecy' about the political powers turning on religion. Now i know there is nothing proprietary esoteric about that,everybody knows religion is the root of much of the world's problems,it's common sense. Don't forget also that the demons who inspire the Watchtower writings know prophecy. Go back?What amazes me is that the Watchtower still has a back or even a front for that matter. I was in since 1957 and i tell you that 100% of members in 1960 who participated in the "never to be repeated" "Truth" book campaigns of that era never believed the Watchtower (corporation) would still be up and running in 2005!
