  Sexual or spiritual pleasure?

  i always wondered in my life is it better to gratify sexual excitation or divert it away from its goals of gratification and use it to develop culture or expand awareness (knowledge) in areas of interest?

  or is it too frustrating to do that?

  or is there no value in the belief that denied physical pleasure takes the form of a deeper, more sustained and profitable in the long term spiritual pleasure?

  I think you put into words what i've been feeling for the past year or so. You still have alot of time to do everything you've always wanted, you just have to go out and do it. (Easier said then done though i guess).

  Do You Ever Have Dreams About Being A JW?

  i had one disconcerting dream last night.

  i was in a very large assembly hall and explosions started occuring and rather than wanting to leave everyone stayed and chatted like whatever was happening out there was not going to affect them inside.

  they were all very smug.

  But for as long as i can remember, whenever i had a dream where i was about to get laid.

  The issue of my being a witness stopped anything from happening. These dreams were disturbing because they happened often. lol.

  what was to be a vacation, turned ugly midweek.

  my wife wanted to connect with family, .. and i am all for that.. one uncle and aunt are regular pioneers and he is an elder.

  Ever notice how people try to qualify their viewpoints by saying things like. "I'm sorry you're not spiritual" or "You'll see the truth in the end"

  Frankly, people really dont have sense.

  Circuit Ass last weekend

  theme was based on the scripture to "clothe yourselves with the new personality" .

  program had 2 symposiums and various other talks.

  i didnt take notes... stopped doing that a while ago but i did manage to listen to some of the program.

  Thats funny @ XB.

  I had the CA last weekend too (it didnt snow :-() and during the circuit needs portions, they spoke about alcohol.too. Perhaps its a national problem.

  I'm a nerd so i was watching this show called Braniac, and they made a study where three groups of people had to either eat a hefty fried food breakfast, drink a few sips of beer or take some aspirin.

  The group that ate the hefty fried food breakfast did the best.

  so tonight i work for a dance dance revolution tournament because i'm on our campus programming and relations board.

  but do you guys know of any fun things to do this weekend?

  maybe not going places since we all live all over... but fun cheap things to do with a close friend?

  while lurking, fading, or like me, a disgruntled dud who wishes to remain anonymous, found out that a fellow poster was a relative, friend, or just someone you knew?

  i found out about one when i first registered and eventually revealed myself because i trust this person.

  i just found another one that i dont trust at all!
