They post it on the board here too. Its funny that they require local congregations to submit accoutns reports but not the soceity itself.

34Kingdom Hall Accounts Report
by Honesty inwhy doesn't the watchtower society allow accounts servants to make copies of the accounts report and pass them out to all attendees at the kingdom hall so they can follow along as he reads the report?
that way all the dubs could more fully share in the joy that comes out of giving from the heart?.
at the church i attend we have a quarterly business meeting where every one receives a complete financial statement that has been audited by several committees in order to insure that every penny is accounted for.

Why you should report your time and organize a party afterwards.
by Trojan inthis reasoning was recently used to argument why we all should fill out our monthly report slip and hand it nicely to the secretary.
the elder explaining this used the organization book and starts mentioning the bible accounts that include numbers and figures in them!

I dont even blame the orgo for not wanting us to go to college.
Before going to college people often looked at me as a future District Overseer.
During my first two semesters i came across alot of things in NON-philosophical classes such as archeology and womens studies that started to make me think.
However, the way i was treated after enrolling in college was probably the straw that broke the camel's back.
I've spoken to a few high school aged witneses about the issue. One even got angry at me when i told her that she probably should become a pioneer and follow through with what the WTBS said if she wanted to live in peace. (She didnt talk to me for a week cause of this). -

Anyway, when its that cold, they usually try to do telephone witnessing, my brother and i do return visits which is actually a return to our house.

Wild After Hours Office Parties :-(

anyway, i go upstairs cause i was told there might be some food left from a party they started at 4..
anyway, i run up and as soon as i open the door, the smell of cigarette smoke and beer blasts my face.

Anyway, i run up and as soon as i open the door, the smell of cigarette smoke and beer blasts my face. Confused i walk towards the where i hear some chatter, and right before i turn the corner i hear the bellows and cheering of about 20 or so guys. I'm about to turn the corner this guy walks out and says "Wait, you're that kid from [says my department}, i dont think you're old enough to come here" in which he promptly points me to the stairwell and walks away.
So now i'm down here finishing up my work, and i can hear these guys two floors above me chanting and yelling out "WHOOOO!!!!" in unison.
What they hell do you think is going on up there? I need to turn 21...fast.

How many?
by schne_belly inso when you were df'd, how many halls were you announced in?.
reliable rumor has it that the three in my family who have either da'd or been df'd in the past month were announced in two seperate halls 20 miles apart.. i don't think this is standard procedure?
any thoughts?

my relatives got very distant from me, probably cause all i would talk about was "truth" and try and hand out mags.

My god, i heard about this game.
They were talking about how each individual gamer will have a randomly generated enviroment, beings and when they get up to modern human stage (even though chances are likely that they wont look human) they will have their own language.
I've been waiting for Oblivion almost exclusively, but i think i might be getting Spore.

Meeting Clothes
by Nosferatu ini absolutely hated the concept of "meeting clothes".
all my meeting clothes were hand-me-downs from other brothers.
i always hated getting hand-me-downs from the fat jw kids who were older than me.

i received hand me downs because my mother was very ill and couldnt take care of us much.
As we got older, people still gave us clothing but it never fit, so we started to have to give the clothes over to the salvation army.
