ibogaine, a naturally occurring alkaloid found in tabernanthe iboga and other plant species of central west africa, was first reported to be effective in interrupting opiate narcotic dependence disorders in u.s. patent 4,499,096 (lotsof, 1985); cocaine dependence disorders in u.s. patent 4.587,243 (lotsof, 1986) and poly-drug dependence disorders in u.s. patent 5,152,994 (lotsof, 1992).

the initial studies demonstrating ibogaine's effects on cocaine and heroin dependence were accomplished in a series of focus group experiments by h. s. lotsof in 1962 and 1963. additional data on the clinical aspects of ibogaine in the treatment of chemical dependence were reported by kaplan (1993), sisko (1993), sanchez-ramos & mash (1994), sheppard (1994), judd (1994) and mash et al.

Just about all drugs are natually occuring. Just about all drugs are beneficial if not overused or abused..unfortunatly just about all people over use and abuse the drugs you listed.

i am an ex jay dub in the uk.. i was was in 'the lie' for 36 years, spent most of it feeling guilty.. in 93 i started a teaching degree & found that i couldn't kid myself anymore, i haven't been to a meeting since.. it's great to find an ex's site that hasn't got a hidden alternative religious adgenda.. .

2) At the end of the videotape (after Berg died), you can distinctly hear an American-sounding voice speaking what sounds like English, and it sounds somewhat like "Thy will be done" but because of the poor sound quality, this also is far from clear. The sound file is here:

I listened to the file over and over. I hear a garbled mess that can be said to have said anything. Just like the JWs swore if you ran some record albums backwards you can hear the voice of the devil. There is nothing distinct about that recording. Shit when the announcer turns it up so you can hear it better it becomes less and less of anything. Oh yeah it's distinctly American. God sometimes people amaze me.

part i of governing blunders in which the wts used a quotation from an anonymous psychiatrist and the department on 'many authorities' attempting to prove that woman feel, while men think, and that the tow actions are mutually exclusive, reached this conclusion in part - "thus the supervision of women by men seems to be nature?s plan, however desperately women may fight it.

as we all know, it takes as little as this type of statement for groups of men with shiny pants and briefcases to begin herding their women like cattle, trying to convince them that cooking endless 'nutritious' meals really is fun, and that holding a microphone just so, is a real mans work.

i thought we would continue in like vein, reminding the reader once again that many of the writers and editors of the wt and awake are still writing atricles for these magazines as we speak.

I read this earlier and had to walk away. I am not sure why I was so upset by the article. Perhaps I think too much on things such as these and read too much into what I get from an article such at this.

If one thinks deeply IMO on the conations of this ?revelation? by the society of 'eternal acquiescence'. I can think of several things as a child I can blame on this for the hurt of so many.

Is it possible that the sisters in our hall I recall as a child who were beaten continuously were so, because of this revelation? Was this allowed because we were such dim-witted creatures who were in need of divine guidance by their husbands? Because we had no earthly clue as to that which was going on?

And when on of these sisters who needed this (loving, I?m sure) guidance went to the elders for help was she immediately ignored because she was overtly emotional had not thinking capacity and therefore mistook her husbands beating and obviously was wrong and therefore to be ignored? Catch 22!

Is it possible that the 'eternal acquiescence? is possible for the physical abuse and sexual abuse of thousands of women and children. Those who were ignored for years by the loving brothers of the society?

What is wrong with these women, why are they trying to kill me with sex?

i have had a rough couple of weeks with these kidney stones.

i would have liked to take a few days off to recover but i have contracts to complete before i fly off to frenchbabyface land.. this last monday i was hurting pretty bad but managed to suffer though a day of site prep for a big tile job.

i came home about 3 pm and cleaned up and went to bed.

As if a man has never done the same to a woman. You're cracking me up. Is there a chance that both of these women may be feeling a little uneasy because they are aware of the other? And if they are not aware of the other should they be?

Do what is best for you. If you are feeling like shit tell them, but don't be forced (or feel forced ) into doing something to please them that may hurt you.

Women can sense that you may be hesitant and perhaps because of your illness they are misreading why you may feel ill at ease being with them and assigning other reasons. We are a squirly bunch.
