In some respects I believe that situations like yours must be so much harder, to know they are there and not be able to touch, feel, hear, contact.
Hugs to you.

Between 2000 and 2003, military doctors performed 496 breast enlargements and 1,361 liposuction surgeries on soldiers and their dependents, the magazine said.
So that is 165 Breast Enlargements (What the article does not state is that some of those breast enlargements went to women who need reconstructive surgery for the loss of breasts due to cancer) and 453 surgeries for liposuction in three years for each year. With millions at least 5-8 million of people eligible for such. It is not as easy to obtain regular surgery in the Military let alone plastic surgery.
There are about 1 Million Active/Reserve Duty members of the military if you figure a small number of 3 dependents per Soldier ( Wife and Two children) That?s 165 breast jobs to at least 4 million People and 453 liposuctions to 4 million people per year. These figures do not include Retirees who get health benefits as well; those numbers are far into the Millions as well.
This is not widespread as the news outlets made it seem that women are joining for breast jobs and plastic surgery. I do not agree with boob jobs and such on the taxpayer?s dime. The news outlets made this sound far more sinister than it is IMO.
Almost half of soldiers and their families live on or are elegible for food stamps and subsidies this needs to be addressed and the miltary is not giving away plactic surgery as some media made it sound. I think it somewhat reasonable that this benefit be allowed even for the small number of women/men who have had the surgery. That the doctors need to practice in doing such work is a consideration, because he is learning this trade for civilian life once he is retired or discharged from the Military.
You can not walk into a clinic and say I want a breast job, it does not happen. We can't even get regular appointments without a 2-3 month wait.

thirteen years ago my nieces were murdered.
today is a hard day for me, remembering the phone call the shock and pain.
lives stolen in a moment.
Thank you all for understanding my need to bring this thread back each year while I am here to remember Victoria and Brittany. I miss them so and wish how I could go back in time one short moment.
Candle's lit in their memory tonight.
Listen! How sweet sings the breeze, merrily off trees,
whispering wonderment, the ear quietly it does please,
nurturing souls, drifting to Celestial splendor,
beauty unfolds, as into peaceful slumber, coils surrender.
Castles in the sky, growing columns of inspired aspiration,
silver shadows flowing through all generations,
warm cocoons of mortality, linked by silken threads,
webs of lives where comfort embeds.
Serenely rests the head of time,
pillows puff by wisps of the sublime,
mellow moments spark a fusion sphere,
perfumed gardens alight, dancing nymphs are near.
Oh mindful forest flower, rivers many bridges cross,
branches leaved with neurons, invisible flakes of frost,
tender is the night, spirits lovingly caress,
sleep well my children, aware God will bless.

do you think it is ever appropriate?
should it be illegal?
do you think the bible recommends doing this?
Nevertheless, children need spanking. They won't die.
Spanking confuses me. Do we hit, swat, spank, an adult who has done something wrong? No we do not. Why one feels the need to hit a child who may be injured quite a bit easier than an adult is a mystery to me. Why we feel it's necessary to hit a child, or 'swat' him or her into submission is beyond me. Is this going to get his or her attention quicker than our taking out time to explain what we want to convey through that spanking? Children are just small forms of adults who IMO are quite a bit smarter than we give them credit. I've raised two sweet girls one of who is an adult now without spanking. Yes, there were one or two times where I reacted out of fear when they were touching or trying to insert something in an electrical outlet and I popped their fingers, I immediately regreted it looking into her eyes. And I see no long term effects of my not spanking. I've a four year old boy who does not get spanked. He gets time outs and things removed which has a greater effect then me hitting him in the long run IMO. Hitting builds resentment and feelings of confusion. They learn it's ok to hit when adults hit them and the cycle continues. I know many say you can't reason with a two year old, I believe you can, it takes more time than a spanking but you can with patience. Spanking is a reaction of fear or anger, reason is a reaction which more need to use IMO. Cassi
Folks, if this is true IT'S HUGE!
It won't matter, the US and UK will be accused of making it up if it is true, ( or even planting) or it will be said they found them months ago and waited to expose such to bolster Bush's/ Blairs rating. That is sad IMO beause if these wars ( Iraq and the American polotical war) were not in place people may look at it differently without skewing the facts.
Again let me say I am not for Bush or Kerry, I think them all to be liars.

Nuclear arms reportedly found in Iraq
Baghdad, Iraq, Jul. 21 (UPI) -- Iraqi security reportedly discovered three missiles carrying nuclear heads concealed in a concrete trench northwest of Baghdad, official sources said Wednesday.
The official daily al-Sabah quoted the sources as saying the missiles were discovered in trenches near the city of Tikrit, the hometown of ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.
"The three missiles were discovered by chance when the Iraqi security forces captured former Baath party official Khoder al-Douri who revealed during interrogation the location of the missiles saying they carried nuclear heads," the sources said.
They pointed out that the missiles were actually discovered in the trenches lying under six meters of concrete and designed in a way to unable sophisticated sensors from discovering nuclear radiation.
The sources said al-Douri, who is related to former Vice Chairman of the Iraq Revolution Council and Saddam's right-hand man Izzat Ibrahim al-Douri, was captured after Iraqi police intercepted an e-mail message in which he set a meeting with another former Baath official.
The report could not be authenticated by the interior ministry or the national security department, but the paper noted Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiar Zibari made a surprise request recently to Mohammed el-Baradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to resume inspections for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.
