I myself feel that abortion is ok if used not primarly for birth control. Those women who have 3-4 abortions should be strung up for not assuring protection was used. Any late trimester abortions are IMO unwarranted unless there is a danger to the mother or the child is anacephalic as was described above?unless the parents wish to donate the child?s organs but this is unfortunately illegal in many states. A whole new discussion. ~ Cassi

What frightens me is that Roe vs. Wade gives the government power to decide who is a person or who is not a person. The right to life is for everybody and not for those who happened to be concieved under the right circumstances.

Roe V. Wade gave women the right to not die in cheap motel rooms after they were raped by a man/men who maintained the government at the time. Is that right or wrong? I am not to conclude at this juncture, I do know however to maintain a pregnancy for 9 months after a horror filled attack could lead one to end ones life and that of her unborn fetus, is that woman guilty of murder or decideing who is a person or not when aware of the pregnancy?

I can not comment on your parents per se, but I can say this, I am probably too over protective of my children ( or they think so) and I drifted from the JWs quite some time ago.

My girls think I am too protective. Not that I wont let them do anything, I just watch very carefully and assure they are in the know enough to be in the situations they ask to be in. I do understand where you are coming from as I was there at your age. And to comment on my own father and step mother then I would say they were far too over protective. And I hated it.

Not all things come from what your parents believe but their responsibility to you and their love for you. Until you are out on your own, you will have to abide by their rules. Or perhaps show them you are responsible enough and they will know you will be ok on your own.

Whoops I missed what you meant. I saw UNreality and immediatly thought of the United Nations. LOL Then I went on thinking of politics. But religion and politics have been connected for so long so I think they both fit. Sorry about that my wrong take.

You know I really am thankful that Koontz and King published that book, do you know that it was one of the most asked for books that did not exist?

but this is a bizarre one i heard.

What I mean is something like if someone told you you were going to inherit a billion dollars at age 50, 60, or 70, everything in between will be diminished somewhat because you're waiting for the big event. But what if it never was going to come? If a person keeps comparing this life to a utopia, then they're inherently dissatisfied with this life, which, imo, is the only chance they get.

You mean kinda like the broken promises of poloticians? They IMO affect quality of life more so than empty dreams.
