  lately i have been pondering my lack of a belief system.

  i think that being a jw really turned me off to believing in anything since it was all crammed down my throat.. i have been feeling a need to believe in something.

  i think i believe that something created us but not sure if it was one god or many.

  King James did not translate the Bible that bears his name. Yet there were 47-54 scholars God used to bring us His preserved words in English.

  We are living in a world where the bible has been watered down. The new versions are very misleading. The original of something can be interpreted by many - words changed, omitted. The true source is most reliable. God would not have inspired men to write it any other way. He knew what He was doing.

  My belief in a nutshell:

  Jesus is God the Son and the three are ONE. The bible, especially KJV has the most appropriate guidelines of how to live and our purpose.

  God created the universe. There is good and evil just as there is heaven and hell and the bible shows. We did not just happen.

  Jesus died and shed His precious blood to save the world and promise us eternal life.

  Being a believer in Christ and following His Word takes courage and faith.

  Smoking

  why do we continue to do it even tho we know its bad for us?????

  i gave up bout a year ago but still have one occasionally i dont even know if i enjoy it all that much but i still do it.

  ive seen three of my family members die as a result of smoking and yet i light another one up!

  I don't smoke. It's stiffling to inhale 2nd hand smoke. It gives bad breath and yellow teeth.

  No I never was JW but they do love give people these WT books and hate to learn the truth because their elders forbid them to.
