Two friends proclaimed themselves to be atheists.
When mortal sickness came to one of them, the other came to see him.
Perhaps a little afraid lest at the last he should abandon his atheism, said to him,
"Stick to it, Bill!"
"But," replied the stricken man, "there is nothing to stick to!"

We are so subnormal that when we try to be normal others will think that we are abnormal.

When we travel to a foreign land, we will be judged by the laws of that land no matter how severe they may be.
We cannot demand that we be judged and punished accordingly to our expectations and thinking. Similarly, when we die and meet God, we will be judged by His high and holy standards, and not by our standards, or rather "substandards".

So hard to believe there is a Creator of the universe? Because you cannot see Him. You can feel can't you?
lately i have been pondering my lack of a belief system.
i think that being a jw really turned me off to believing in anything since it was all crammed down my throat.. i have been feeling a need to believe in something.
i think i believe that something created us but not sure if it was one god or many.

Reading the bible....bible... any bible? It's like the original Cinderella which now has a different ending to the real story.
Even the Little Mermaid...you know she died in the end because she loved so much. Now we have a cartoon series where she is very much alive.

The Scriptures rightly show the foolishness and inconsistency of man - "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God..." ( Psa 14:1 )
Where did the earth, sun, moon and the stars come from? .
Where then did matter and energy come from?
Other than God Himself, something cannot come out of nothing.
Every effect must have a cause. The energy in the Universe is the effect. What causes it?

for believers, if god uses the bible to communicate factual information, then why four gospels?
and why are they not in harmony with each other?
why not send down one record of the life of jesus as it really happened?
