One of our local elders was interviewed by the co at a recent assemble, he was asked, "what changes did you make when you made the truth your own". His answer, "After praying to Jehovah, and reading the Bible daily, I realized i had to slave off my beard".

The Elders want to meet with me and the hubby... Lol lol lol
by Sevan inso the elders called wanting to meet with me and my husband.
most likely because i told a concerned jw friend of mine that i really care about that i wasn't coming back and a couple of the issues i had.
i didn't bring up any so-called "apostate" information, just told her about the australian royal commission and that there are a lot of unscriptural teachings and that the gb apply scriptures that are about jehovah and jesus to themselves, which is idolatry.

They only what the answer to this one question from you. "Do you still believe that the governing body is God's sole spirit directed organization?" Your answer to this question is all that they are interested in.

by LogansRun injust wanted to say hello, i have been visiting this site for a very long time and i feel like i know so many of you already, now you can get to know me but for now i'm fading so i cant give my complete story.

i really checked out years ago from to much mental abuse and no recognition for all that i gave to this organization.

Its sad that WT don't learn from their own lies, its even sadder when they continue to proclaim this sort of nonsense as truth. But the biggest worry I have now is that my JW family and friends are blind to any life changing unscriptal teaching that jw.org tell us. In their minds jw.org has done no wrong and will do not wrong and we must not listen to anyone that says they have. Listen, obey and be blessed. If only!

Kids continue to leave in droves - so what is the organization's grand plan? This
by sir82 injws have one of the worst, if not the worst, retention rates among their kids.
i've seen numbers from 65% to 88% who leave, never to return.. you'd think this would be a priority amongst the leadership, right?
where do tomorrow's leaders come from, if the vast majority of kids leave the organization?

What would happen if every witness followed this week's CLAM video of that talented young musician and gave up their jobs and dreams in order to pioneer?. No money coming into HQ would hurt...

From last weeks WT study, para 9.
9 What is the record of Jehovah’s Witnesses regarding collections? Their work is supported by voluntary donations. (2 Cor. 9:7) No collections are taken at their Kingdom Halls or conventions.
Why did this WT study not detail the many other ways JW.org guilt us into giving them money? At least we know from this very WT study, that when the churches of Christendom ask for money, apparently they are doing it for the wrong reasons!!?

Taken from last weeks Watchtower study, para 8:
"8 What should be the motive for doing the preaching work? It should not be to collect money and construct elaborate buildings..... Despite this clear direction, most churches are sidetracked by collecting money or by making efforts to survive financially. They have to support a paid clergy, as well as a multitude of other employees. In many cases, the leaders of Christendom have amassed great wealth.—Rev. 17:4, 5."
OK for WT to be doing this but not Christendom?.

JW Cart Witnessing = ONE BIG JOKE
by Black Man inwas talking to a good buddy of mine a couple days ago (we pioneered and were in bethel together and have both left the cult a few years ago), about the current cart and d. and the consensus was that it is now a complete joke.
was watching a couple witnesses last week sit at a table with their literature display.
no approaching people for conversation, no initiating stimulating dialogue with passerbys, as was encouraged when i "pioneered" back in the day.

Last weeks Watchtower Study said this in para 3:
3 Were Jesus’ disciples to be passive, waiting for people to come to them? Definitely not!
Is not that what cart witnessing is about?

Sounds like you have done more in 1 month about breaking free from this trap than I have been able to in the last 11 years of knowing ttatt.
It really hurts when we hear witnesses believe the stories from WT ahead of the truth from the Bible.
