You are either a Porcupine or a Snake personality.
But you may also be a Mountain Goat personality.
I'll have to read what they say later. My insomnia is wearing off.

hi just want a little help with a paradise earth speech that jehovah's witnesses normally give.. i want to have this as my intro for my oral presentation.
can some people please help and tell me a typical paradise earth speech.. imagine that you have knocked on my door and i answered it now the presentation of yours...... evanescence
The Witnesses always have such nice paradise pictures in their magazines.
Apparently the entire Earth will become mountainous with flowing streams and rivers, covered in fir trees with lots of flowers, fruit, tigers and bears all around. The grass will always remain nicely cut without the aid of a lawnmower. Apparently not many people at all will be resurrected after '5000' years of human existence, because there aren't any homes in the horizon.
Sounds great! I think I'll start going to the Hall again so I can have a pet liger and live in a bear's den on a mountain top.
do you ever come across something on the internet that you just have to watch over and over?.
blabber i have no idea what this is about other than technology.. http://people.ambrosiasw.com/~andrew/funny/blabber.swf.
all glory to the hypnotoad!.
I finally figured out where I heard that song in Ambrosia:
Technologic by Daft Punk
this probably sounds like a stupid topic, but what's in a beer belly?
i've always been on the thin side, but i've been drinking too much beer lately and notice something happening above my belt.
it's not really noticeable and is easiliy sucked in, but i'm not happy.
My husband can get a beer belly in just 2 weeks if hes drinking too much. When he stopped his belly goes down.
That's good to hear; I have less than a month before school starts back up.
Black Sheep: I'm going to give up beer for a while and see what happens before going to the doc. I won't have medical insurance for another month or two.

I found myself gasping for breath just listening to Ambrosia. The techno riff wasn't bad though.
i wonder if it's just me, or if other posters are like this.
do any of you start to type a post, then hit the back button, or quit your post because your afraid of saying something stupid or "wrong," or reread some of your previous posts and wonder, what you were thinking when you posted it?.
i find most people on this board more than willing to accept you for whatever you say in a post, but i still frequently shy away from hitting that 'submit post' button.. rose (pushing the submit button before chickening out again)
or reread some of your previous posts and wonder, what you were thinking when you posted it?
Oh yeah, I can relate to this one. I wish I were more insucure at times, because I've put my foot in my mouth more times than I can count, and not just on this board
I wish I'd never started at least two threads on the JWD. Sometimes first impressions never go away...
i often wonder why so many religions choose to interpret the bible and set their interpretations in stone.
wouldn't it be better to simply support the members of the congregation and let them use their own discernment?
i remember the jws preaching against the formation of sects.

I remember the JWs preaching against the formation of sects. Isn't this exactly what they're doing when they make the scriptures uniquely theirs? They're making themselves a distinct group, completely seperate from other Christians. If this isn't considered a sect then I don't know what is.
everyone says the us was after iraq's oil.... most likely true..... so where is it?.
why is oil skyrocketing.... especially on the futures markets.... the saudi's make the same amount of dollars as what benchmark price... the speculators (mostly american) are the real force driving the price up.
of course no one will ever blame wall street... it's those saudi bastards!.
The Iraq war is costing about a BILLION dollars a day
I still think the prices are being jacked up to pay for this expense. Why else would it have suddenly shot up after the war started (doubling after Saddam was captured)?
I hardly think that the world population exploded in only a couple years, making the demand that much higher. If this is the case, we need not worry about where the oil will come from. We need to start finding another planet to populate, and quick.
does anyone remember this game from (i think) the early '80s?
it's a role playing game of some sort that included some violent imagery or something.. i remember jws (and the media, come to think of it) making a big, big deal of it.
something like it was demonized or made kids murder people.
Can someone explain how D&D is played?
We used to 'play' it in my cousin's neighborhood as kids, but there was never any type of board or books involved. We all just sat around in a circle and were guided by a dungeon master.
I don't think these were authentic sessions.
