maybe they are sick, maybe they are wicked. and yeah, maybe they do believe their own lies. maybe THEY are the smurfs.
it doesnt matter much...
when a friend with doubts made it clear she would hear things out but feared becoming one of "those bitter apostates,"
it sort of forced me into recognizing the hard work of groups like the silentlambs, reminding her and myself at the same time, that the witnesses harbor criminals. knowingly.
that makes them wicked and sick but mostly its ignorance on a grand scale.
knowledge is their enemy. the most profound yet simple thing i could share with her.

Are they more "wicked" or "sick?"
by Confession ini think, after we have "awakened" from our watchtower coma, we come to one of two conclusions.
either we.... a) recognize that the watchtower society is not what it claims to be.. or b) recognize the watchtower society is not what it claims to be, and believe those in charge to be thorough charlatans.. okay, i suppose there can be more than two conclusions.
probably a few fall somewhere in between a and b. there are a lot of things we can prove.. -that jerusalem was not destroyed in 607 bce, and therefore the entire basis of wts authority is unfounded.. -that the wts did indeed claim to be acting as god's prophet, and in so doing made an alarming number of end-time date prophecies that never came to pass.. -that the organization, which claims to be led by almighty god, has changed "present truth" teachings and then changed them back, and has taught a great number of horribly incorrect things as "god's truth.".

The devil visited a lawyer's office and made him an offer. "I can arrange some things for you, " the devil said. "I'll increase your income five-fold. Your partners will love you; your clients will respect you; you'll have four months of vacation each year and live to be a hundred. All I require in return is that your wife's soul, your children's souls, and their children's souls rot in hell for eternity."
The lawyer thought for a moment. "What's the catch?" he asked.

Results of "The Test"
Do you have a cheating heart?
Your score = 95
When the cat is away the mice will play - and, in your case, the cat could even be in the next room. While you may never have actually two-timed anyone, you certainly show the attitudes and tendencies of a cheat. You don't think relationships should be, or even can be, monogamous. For you, variety is the spice of life. While the word "cheat" may have negative connotations, perhaps you are simply open-minded and more liberal than most. (Different strokes for different folks.) In this case, your attitude might not be a problem…if you can find a partner who shares your idea of commitment. Even couples that think they can handle infidelity, however, are often surprised by the strange mix of emotions that it creates. Jealousy and bitterness can destroy the most well-intentioned, open-minded couple, so weigh the pros and cons before exploring new horizons.

unconditional love
by John Doe ini'm rather sick of hearing the term "unconditional love.
" there is no such thing.
love must be earned--it is not something given with no strings attached.
