imagine this folks...the wts as an ocean going vessal.

the captain of this ship is the governing body, the crew are the bethelites and all those overseers, and the passengers are the congregations of jw's.. ok, this ship has been sailing calmy for many years, but lately it has taken on a pretty hefty cargo.

Perhaps it is wise to more readily admit to someone that your feelings have been hurt by their words and/or actions.

This is not an invitation for them to hurt you more. This is a statement of your right to be treated with respect.

The alternative and popular course of action is to attack the person who hurt you. Humans always defend themselves when attacked. See the fallacy in this?

perhaps you recall the instance in the bible where samson made a wager with the philistines that they couldnt guess his riddle.

as it turned out they wheedled the answer out of him by his fiancee, but the point is that they had a wager.

since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.
