  What possible thing could Jehoober do to put it right at judgement day? (assuming you believe that crap).

  What could he say to that 18 month old baby? "Hey kiddo I didnt let your abuser live forever in paradise on earth, so its all OK. I'll erase your memory and im sure your bum hole will get better soon".

  If he doesnt burn people in eternal hell, judgement day doesnt seem such a bad deal. You get to sexually abuse children for as many years as you like, your wife and congregation stand by you, and you might die of old age, but if you happen to be alive at Armageddon god will kill you. Big frickin' deal. Mr Porter must be quaking in his shoes, that if he can stop celebrating long enough from getting away with in at Bristol Crown Court.

  How time flys when you are out!

  is it just me or does time seem to pass so much faster when you no longer endure meetings or field service.

  now that i am starting to get myself together life is good!

  in fact life seems so much better and good things are starting to happen.

  Ten happy years have gone in a blink for me. I had a baby, met a new non dub partner, got a career, changed a career! and am now pregnant with non dub partner. Its been fantastic.

  And I STILL LOVE having Tuesday night, Thursday night, Saturday morning and Sunday free. Its fantastic!

  not sure what to do about this...

  so sis in law father has been on dialysis for yrs and is elderly and hubby just got a text from his bro 'just so you don't put your foot in it ******'s father is stopping dialysis this wk and has 2 wks to live' (hes a jw too).

  so i said to hubby he should reply and mention how sorry we are but he said why as they're treating me(dobs) like dirt and he doesn't see why he should.

  but although they have cut me out now totally it seems i still think i should do something.

  I e-mailed my mum this story about Mr Porter, and do you know what her response was???

  "Jehovah will judge him in his own time".

  Dear god, im gobsmacked. Its such a COP OUT way to think. What about his wifes kids who are probably still living with him? What about the kids in the congregation he still attends? What about all the victims whose lives have been blighted and ruined by his selfish trouser snake?

  And how will god judge him? Well, as we know he doesnt make people burn in hell. He just destroys them at Armageddon. So you can sexually abuse kids all your life and if you happen to be alive when armageddon comes you just die. If youve already died you dont get to come back.

  What kind of a lame ass punishment is that? It hardly protects anyone now does it?

  Jeez, if I had known mum thought like this I would have used that one my entire childhood. Comes home late after being with unauthorised boy - "hey mum no need to punish me, Jehovah will punish me in his own time!"

  What will her children think when they are grown up and reviewing the situation?

  "Our step dad was convicted of child abuse and our mum made us live with him afterwards".

  Shes going to lose those children if she doesnt take action to protect them, because they will be trying to leave home as soon as they possibly can, and they arent going to feel too kindly towards him or her. And once the kids are gone hes not going to want to be with her anymore.

  I feel like writing to her, but what would be the point? If the facts arent already slapping her in the face theres nothing I could say to make them clearer.

  backstory: i just moved out of the house my soon-to-be-ex and i own together.

  he's staying until the house sells.

  in the meantime, i'm paying half the mortgage and half the utilities.

  Ive been divorcing the wrong men!!!

  I think I could understand this situation if there were kids involved, but I have never known anyone who has paid everything for the other person who remained in the house, I would say that sounds pretty unfair.

  Anyway, back to my sister bloke - hes really dragging his feet on selling the house, he doesnt clean the house properly when buyers come round, he refuses to accept offers other than very generous ones, and he puts very short time scales on prospective buyers sealing the deal.

  He knows hes onto a good thing, getting a nice house half paid for. He couldnt afford such a nice house on his own and he doesnt really want to move out and start having to live within his single means.

  So I say, go round when you want to. dont let your ex get used to living in a house that he couldnt afford on his own, dont let him get to thinking its HIS house, when you are subbing him 50%. Apologies to people who think im being a bitch, but I just see what my sisters man is up to and I would probably do the same as him if I were living in a lovely house I couldnt afford but someone was paying half of!

  you: you know, the one in england who pleaded gulty to 25 counts of indecent assault and gross indecency... the youngest victim was 18 months old.... dub: how terrible!.

  you: the tragic thing is, the judge didn't send him to jail, but only gave him a community rehabilitation order.

  and the church won't even take disciplinary action against him... he's still in a position to abuse more victims.. dub: end times... corrupt judges blabla .. false religion... whore of babylon yadda yadda.

  My sister dated a man who is in your soon-to-be-ex's position.

  His ex girlfriend lets herself into the house when she likes, and rearranges the interior decorations when estate agents are due to show prospective buyers round. Im not saying this is good or bad, just an example of what someone else does.

  Also, if my sister wants to see him, she doesnt go round his house, he goes to my sisters house. Its no hardship for them.

  Personally I dont think you are being unreasonable, you know theres a possibility someone else might be round, I dont see thats an issue, unless they are buck naked and running round the house when you step inside. It wont hurt any prosective girly of his to know that he only owns half the house and its up for sale and you might be round because you own half of everything.
