currently, the story has only been rated "2.5 stars by 116 users.
" the report will acquire greater longevity on the website if it manages to be ranked among the "most viewed," "top rated" or "most e-mailed" on the news site.
thank you for pointing this out, I rated the article and I think its important it gets as many rates as possible.
I was appalled that there was an actual form for dealing with this, and even more appalled that in states with reporting rules elders were advised to make an anonymous report from a public telephone box!!! Words fail me.

katie kitten (louise) text me last night at 11.30pm to tell me to tell you all she's had a litter of one.
a little boy, josef jack, 8lb 14oz, born 5.55am on nov 15th.. she apparently had a long and somewhat rough time of it and is gonna be in hospital a day or two.. i'll be the first to say congratulations.

Es - if there was one thing I could say to you in 4 months time - its that you will think you really think you cant get it out, but you can, it just bloody hurts! I begged for stronger drugs towards the end but my midwife knew I didnt really want them so I didnt get them! And in fairness it was only another 20 minutes from when I was really begging pathetically! Good luck.

i am sitting here looking at my very first christmas tree set up in the foyer.
a very good friend gave us a prelit 6 ft tree.
my husband brought it home last night and i just couldn't stand it anymore!.
Is it OK to put a tree up this early? Not having celebrated christmas for 30 years I dont know what the rules are (as I keep reminding my partner - every time I make a holiday faux pas).
I cant wait to put my tree up, they look so pretty dont they?
I already have some wrapped pressies on the floor where the tree will go!

anyone heard of this group before?.
i just heard about them today on an episode of the skeptics guide to the universe.
I have never heard of this group before and I was amazed to find out there was a group of current JW's who disagreed with one of the key doctrines.
I wish I had known about them years ago. I emailed the website to my mum who was also amazed to hear about a group like this.
I didnt see how they could directly disagree with doctrine until I saw it was all anonymous, but I still think it would be incredibly hard to be a serving member of the HLC and be a member of this group. Surely you would be wanting to whisper to the JW in the hospital bed "hey, take blood if you want it", rather than placing pressure on them to refuse, even in the face of death.
at the risk of outing myself and my hubby, i just had to run this by everyone to see if it was just me.... last night i attended a function that the women of hubby's hell put together to honor their boe.
there was much food and they put the guys up on a stage and played "name that elder" and then interviewed each one.
the mc of the event gave deep commentary regarding his feelings of each of the elders.. i thought the elders weren't special...that they were just regular joes with more responsibility...certainly not guys that should be lauded for doing what they have been given the "priviledge" of doing.... am i wrong?.
OMG - that sounds so sychophantic and sick making. Really wrong IMO, they shouldnt be 'honoured' as if they were something special.
I bet they dont throw parties for the single mums, and the old ladies who have been faithful for years on end with no recognition.
remember when i posted a possible job interview at a daycare center...well, i've had 2 phone interviews and 1 face to face coming up in an hour.. getting this job will make or break me at this point...lol.
