Quotes Mirror Sites: Attempt at Making a Single Place to Report Sites
by Check_Your_Premises init appears that the work around for the quotes site will be a long term effort.
as the wt plays whack-a-mole with the new sites that pop up, we need to know where the new ones pop up.. so here is my attempt to bring some order to this process.
let's make this a running thread where we put all our links to the mirror sites.. the downside is that the wt will know where to go to find out where the new sites are they have to squash.. the upside is that it is alot easier to put a site up then it is for the wt to take them down!!!.

You may want to pay Special attention to the Blood booklet as you will be getting many questions and inquiries about it in the future.

Made money with a ATM machine
by JH inin our atm machines, we can only get 20 dollar bills out of them, so today i went to get 60$ out of the atm machine and to my surprise came out a 50$ and two 20's.
there isn't supposed to be 50$ bills in that machine.
i guess that the one who filled it up with 20's, accidentally put a 50$ in.. then i came back home and went online to see what i withdrew, and it was written 60$, just like i asked.. there is no way they can find out now.

Two Atheists Went to Mass Last Night
by Seeker4 inmy girlfriend lori and i were driving home from dinner out with her daughter last night, when she asked to see some of the christmas lights on the houses.
this is a small vermont village, and there was snow and streets lit only by candles in paperbags.
very pretty.

WTS vs Quotes: Requiem for a Research Web Site
by Quotes inin compliance with the terms of a settlement agreement, my information and research web site, http://quotes.watchtower.ca, is now "dark".
the domain "watchtower.ca" has been transferred to wts (i assume they will have it pointing to borg.org watchtower.org asap).
my copies of the site have been destroyed, the files deleted, and my wt library cd has been destroyed, in accordance with the settlement agreement which will afford a "discontinuance" of their suit against me.

Quotes...........You have my deepest respect. Just remember, I along with many others are cockroaches and also...Mitchell Garabedian was the lawyer who successfully sued the Catholic church here in Boston and got a settlement for millions of dollars for Clergy sex abuse. So anything is possible.

What's your expierence at a DUB wedding/reception?
by stillAwitness ini'm invited to wedding/reception tomorrow (on christmas-naturally) only reason i'm going is because its my one chance to get new shoes, dress, the whole bit at my mother's expense (since she seems to think i will find my future middle-aged elder husband at one of these functions)
i definetly plan to buy one of those mini-bottles of seagrams and get buzzed of course.
who wants to listen to 10 different speeches from family and friends about "how wonderful this spiritual union is of so and so) yawn!

A Letter I Feel I Should Share.
by Apostanator inthere are many here who have been shunned or dis-owned by family members who are jehovah's witnesses.
the pain, hurt and agony over this treatment wreaks havock in our lives and at times to the point of being unbearable.
after much deliberation and thought i came to the conclusion that for me to be able to "move on" in my own life i needed to express my feelings and be heard on some level by my family.
