My Last thoughts in Field Service Before the Elderly Man Shat Himself and Pissed his pants in My New Car!

i was reading this website on my phone while something started to stink in my car and one of the weird kids nobody wanted to work with yelled "hey, you leaking all over my seat, he was freaked out too!
" the older, retired elder, his pioneer daughter had forgotten to put his depends on and that became my problem.

There was a couple near 100 years old and the only way they got any attention from the Congregation and avoided being forgotten was going out in Field Service as much as they could. The JW elderly and infirm people go door to door or sit on a street corner next to a JW trolley because they don't have any family or friends in many cases. The Watchtower get's the Humanity F-- Grade, we all know these idiots who allow their older ones to fade away and get shuffled off to Government Rest Homes JWs use.
Older JWs without financial means, ones the Watchtower wont be on their inheritance list, those who lived a modest life get screwed in their "years of dread" Ecl. This site is loaded with examples of the Watchtower stealing time and resources from those who can least afford it and live like gods, the Dark lords of the Watchtower.

not all the kingdom halls are hitting the targeted monthly donation-revenue range, they are still asking other kingdom halls to pony up cash for kingdom halls that can't afford the "recommended donation rate".

Off the phone with another JW in Oregon, this is going to be the official line to their begging because it's spreading like wildfire or the Organization is getting less money than before. Will the Watchtower have to consolidate even more Kingdom Halls and force Witnesses to travel twenty or thirty miles or threaten them at least? The BOE had to give a monthly talk in our Kingdom Hall saying "If we were a business, the utility company would have shut off the power, water and heating and foreclose our Kingdom Hall because we are not cutting it!'
Many JW Elders have no problem taking four or five vacations( and refuse to tithe while preaching to others "give more money!). My Aunt never gave anything to the Kingdom Hall and she made $180k with her husband from his endless disability and workers compensation lawsuits and pensions accumulated. The Watchtower's founders said "If we have to beg for money or pass a plate, we know Jehovah is not blessing our efforts!" When each Publisher had to fill out the piece of paper and state how much money they could afford to keep Jehovah's House open, that's a warning sign!
If anyone here is from Bakersfield or Visalia, my Uncle was telling me in the late 1960s or early 1970s the Congregation had each member write a pledge to donate for the Kingdom Hall. Jobs starting leaving as the Economy broke in that region, Witnesses who were unemployed were hounded like Mormons do to their members who stop attending the LDS Church. Witnesses who stopped attending the Kingdom Hall and suffering from depression soon had JW Elders show up and ask the following scripted questions.
1. Where have you been, it's been some time since you attended the Meeting!
2. Do you remember you signed a pledge to Jehovah to donate money to keep his Temple Doors open?
3. You are not in "good standing" because "your Yes did not mean Yes"!
The issues of each person losing their job are complex and complicated and people get really depressed when you can't find work! To use a form letter or card, the Watchtower's REPO MEN "Bruno" and "Big Louie" did not care about the Witness or his or her family, it's all about the money you promised! Uncle said he remember one family really suffering and living out of their car getting handed a bill of 25 months of unpaid Kingdom Hall Pledges! What would you say to people so calloused to your personal economic plight your living in a car with kids and their handing you a Kingdom Hall Bill after not attending the Meetings for Two Years!

by freemindfade inthe whole meeting for me was nauseating yesterday... the talk was on "science".. nuff said... then the watchtower, they are just spinning in circles patting themselves on the back lately it seems, but this is one thing that really stuck out to me.. i heard the comment multiple times about how the 2013 version of nwt made things "easier to understand" "simpler" and so on.
this has been one of my main beefs with yhwh and his book.

In the 1960s-1990s we were told "The New World Translation was superior because it's a literal translation, not a thought translation that was subject to the authors(committees) bias, presuppositions(personal beliefs by slipping in their own opinions) and whims of each Bible translated!". HQ tells their Worldwide Congregation any lie or half-truth they want, without reasoning things out the Publisher must believe or keep their mouth shut lest they get labeled a faultfinding murmurer. They are falling apart if they are lying about the arrangement they themselves created, "We are forgiving your debts but you still must keep paying the same or greater sum forever!", a perpetual dividend from each Kingdom Hall.
Witnesses are worried the Watchtower is hurting financially after their massive gesture of goodwill and yes after speaking with him and several other people in charge, that's how their spinning this mess! The "Loan Forgiveness" program flopped according to a few people in the financial know or it's being presented this way. I am writing while on the phone, the Kingdom Hall donations are dropping unexpectedly, they screwed up!

"Field Service used as a drop off Day Care" oh Hell Yeah! We had your problem too, having bigger cars meant you could carry around the entire JW Brady Bunch plus Partridge Family's too! Kids probably don't remember the Partridge Family drove around in a bus, can you imagine how many witnesses would love this arrangement if we had a fridge, bathroom and beer-tap (for our elders that carried a flask in their book bags, yes they did!). There's nothing like knocking on the doors and having your four year old peeing on their daisies, the kind householder who laughed so hard and offered me a beer after looking at my face turn beet red saying "I am a grand-dad, your gonna get through this too!" laughing with a Kris Kringle Chucke(he was a really kind person and never yelled at the frequent visits by crazy pioneers trying to hit Super Pioneer hours. You know their type, we often spoke of them with "Oh he/she would make a good witness if only they would become a JW), what a good sports many of our householders were even those who got angry deserved to be pissed off!
When I was younger I had ladies come to the door totally naked(and yes, it crossed my mind to do a "service call!) just to mess with us, if I had the mind I have now, I would have carried a "Wild Female Care Kit" asking her to teach me all the secrets to lovemaking :) We really did experience something nobody else can relate to, all the rules and mind numbing doctrinal changes while debating the same things over and over (Trinity, Soul, Hell-fire, 144,000) like the Rapture, how do JWs now explain that little gem? I was asked by someone why I would want to go to the Apostafest after leaving the Cult because they don't want anything to do with anything JW related and believe all we are going to do "Is talk about the Organization and JW things the entire time!", they are really upset beyond consolation now. I think we can laugh about our Field Service memories unlike him, we look back and see some of the fun and absurdity of it all! I should have had a Field Service Partner who liked Stevie Ray Vaun and took wild meds!

ROFLMAO! I saw some 50 something elder slamming(like 10 times) someone's Toyota (Their seat-belts are notorious loose on 1999-2007 models Minivans, Tundras and SUVs) because it would not close, he bent the brother's brand new Sequoia's door! Next week in Field Service 90 year old brother-cranky ass backed up in to the POs Toyota(Same car!) and drove off after looking at the impression he made! Don't feel bad for the older Elder because I was not the only car he shat in, he did relieve himself on the front lawn or corner of the householders home frequently. He was a total asshole to people when I was a kid, his loud and obnoxious mouth ran almost as much as his bowels, not a nice man so don't feel bad for him! So many good points here, I started laughing from the start and when I read Cappy's post, it brought back all them good Field Service memories!
"Worst one I ever saw was an older sister getting out of someone's car, not looking behind her as she slams the door shut, and catches the seat belt buckle in the door. Not satisfied with that she opens the door again and gives it another almighty slam shut, catching the buckle a second time.

If the Universal Consciousness decided to make things big by turning up the Earths productive powers, it's not far from imagination. People ask us to believe Life sprouted from Nothingness, my brain has a much harder time wrapping it's head around that than over-sized fruits I have seen at Fairs in the Midwest and Georgia hybrid peaches!
